Hello all, :hello:
Thanks to all suggestions on Bob goes Forth it is now re edited to be a cunning plan..as cunning as a?....add your own bit on:rotfl:
It is time for another diary as the other one was getting rambly and more bean orientated by the day:DAnd of course had to have a wee tribute to the cunning plan, and wonderful series which is Blackadder:T
So where am i now..well as the title says, not in as good a position as i would like. The truth is i am working very little at the moment and have been very proactive in trying to get extra work....(i supply teach) Currently i have two interviews lined up for more work and am still using contacts to network and make some more dosh.
Where do i want to be? Well ideally i would like to personally debt free in FEBRUARY or March, the truth is that it will only happen if i get full time work, the children stop eating or we win the lottery:rotfl: The amount now that is about £5,500 A bit more than when i originally started.:o I would also add here that this is just my stuff at the moment as Mr.B has other debt so i may allude to it every now and then, but he doesn't want to be mentioned...other than first page i will keep my promise:D
So after my share of household bills i am left with little to overpay with at the moment..
Ways to remedy that
1. Get extra work, part time job, more supply work, delivering catalogues etc.
2. Budget, budget and budget
3. Do as much as i can clicking and surveys( like pulling teeth but it all adds up)
4. Finish the free bingo sites...
5. I have joined the list 10 items a day challenge, so will keep doing that and fleabay. Have also enquired about taking stuff to auction..i have old furniture stored at BIL's factory (free) But may as well get something for it:o
6.I will start matched betting..
7. start charging more for my cakes..just a little hobby of mine and if Obi is lurking i promise i will....
8.keep a spending diary and reopen a spends account to keep me focused.
9. Keep on with the grocery challenge, and continually look out for better deals as well as using quidco for extra if available.
10. As i like ironing may even take some of that in..but that may be going too far:rotfl:
11. more walking practice and losing weight
12. Shamelessly nick tips from Hypno and anyone else:T
So that is my little countdown clock..Let the turnips roll.....................:rotfl:
Oh! if anyone followed my other diary, then no i didn't resort to Kate's/bob's father's offer of going on the game...:rotfl:
If anyone is interested here is my other diary..full of turnip ramblings though.....

Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Yay! The new diary! Lots of little bits of ideas (I wouldn't call them thoughts lol) come up reading through your list:
4 - are there any free bingo sites still going? Do you do competitions, and put the results on ebay?
6 - you have to! I'm not fully back into it yet, but there is *so* much money there, especially at first.
7 - you have to, ditto! I remember some of the pics you posted.
8 - a diary is amazing. I've totally lost touch with where I am in relation to the grocery challenge, but in a way it doesn't really matter - it makes me think about every penny.
9 - yep - eat less, so you buy less food, lol!
10 - you did vernons at quidco, right? Do you have the spare cash to take out that ISA? Have you switched utilities supplier recently?
Also - are you going to grow winter salads? After your success with the beans, I don't see how you *can't*!
Okay, thats all I can think of for now.... lovely to see the shiny new diary!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
aha!! A plan so cunning you could cut your teeth on it

Hi Bob :hello: I watched "25 years of BA" on tv last weekend and they talked about Rowan Atkinson's stutter that makes his rendition of "Bob" so amusing, I always think of him saying it as I look at your thread.
As to the gardening, if you see Mumof4's thread on OS, she has a spreadsheet for planting her allotment through the year to maximise the returns. I've been inspired to try at homeShe's a fan of beans too.

As long as your cunning plan doesn't involve sticking your pants on your head, pencils up your notice and saying 'wibble' I think you'll be OK.
Having said that, that sounds like a very good way to spend a NSD...
