Hi
We have purchased an appartment in Cornelia 1 and received the letter about the court case
I would like to hear from anyone else who has purchased in this development0 -
I too have also received the same offical letter from Delagio today.I have purchased a property in Dawn Park.
I emailed them today:
Please can you confirm what payments you have received of ours? Also can you confirm that the work on our property is still in progress?
and this is there response:
I would like to inform you that we have received a BULK payment from Ambasun UK for client's installments, without client's names, ref.numbers and the amounts. So, I can not confirm what money which we received form Ambasun UK for your apartment.
> Yes, the works on the development are in progress. The flooring in the apartments and the common parts are done, the walls are plasted. Now the workers are fitted the internal stones on the fasade.
> If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Ibelieve them about the work been done on the apartmnt as I've seen the photos on there site and its only a week ago that they emailed me asking me to choose my furniture colours.
I am very worried about my money and what is going to happen. I'd love to still have the apartment. I can't believe this is all happening at the final hour.
I don't know if you are aware but there is going to be a piece on Watchdog on Mon 9th Feb about people who have purchased property in Bulgaria. I can only assume that this is regarding those of us who have had dealings with Ambasun.
Has anyone else had any other info from Ambasun or Delagio?0 -
Just a few observations and points which have come to my attention and I believe are correct.
Desi manages all the development companys.
The actual development companys' are in fact Desi's Dad and a few local skilled tradesmen he has pulled together.
The development companies are pursuing a claim against Ambasun UK for around 3.9 millon euros.
Why have the developers filed action in the UK?? Is it because to file the action in a Bulgarian Court you need to pay a 4% retainer (around 156,000 euros). Does this indicate how confident Desi is not?
Ambasun International actually own 80% of the development. The developers only own 20%.
Desi's management companies are trying to obtain the freehold and rights to manage all the facilities themselves.
Whether the development company has received our money is not important because the contract has both ambasuns' name and the developers name on it so by law any payment made to ambasun is deemed to be recieved by the development company. It is the development companies concern to try and get these payments from ambasun, hence the court action.
Having said that obviously if the development company has run out of money they will not be able to continue to build, a problem for us all.
The main concern now is to try and get 2 representatives for each development to go to bulgaria and find out first hand whats happening. How do we do this when we do not know who's bought???
Has anyone searched the courts to obtain details of the legal action that the developers have started.

how do you know that the claim is for 3.9m euros?
Do you know how we can find out who else has purchased properties so that we can all decide who represents us.?
Which development have purchased a property on?0 -
Hi
We have also received the same letter from Desi, and are purchasing in Cornelia 1. We have been trying to get information from both UK and Bulgaria but they both blame each other. If Ambasun international own 80% has anyone tried them or does anyone have any contact details?0 -
how do we know that ambasun own 80% and Desi own 20%?0

Very interesting indeed well done, has anyone signed letting agreements or maintenance contracts?0 -
Does anyone know if the watchdog piece will be available to view online on the night of feb 9th?? Info appreciated.0

We have bought in Cornelia 1. Much of our concern and issues are reflected in the threads above. Albatross appears to be strongly represented here, but how do we determine who is to respresent each development at the meeting later this month? Should we as a group contact Watchdog as well sothat the scale of concern/involvement is obvious?0

We're in Dawn Park. Same concerns as everyone in this thread.
Watchdog usually ask people to phone in if they have experienced the same problem. Is that the intention on Monday?0
