  • Hi MissOptimistic,

Yes, dooyoo is very like Ciao. It pays 50p per review. If you are thinking of joining send me a PM with your email address and I will refer you.

Yeah, I'm hoping he can speed up with his earnings on AQA so we have an okay Xmas. Have lots of people to meet when we go home so don't want to worrying all the time.

Hi to all of you - have read all the thread and am confused by "dooyoo" and "aqa"? Can any of you give me any lads please. My OH and DS have both been laid of work recently so any extra cash is a bonus. Have read Martin's site for some time and am fully aware of the debt I am in and painfully trying very hard to pay it off. Just seems to me that just as one door opens another one slams fast. Haven't yet got to courage to display my SOA but have done it for myself and know where I am going - would just like to see a bigger fall in the debt and maybe with the two sites mentioned could earn just a little extra. Would just like to say thank to each and every reader for the support they give even to those you rarely have the courage to come on line. :A

  • Hi Billie,

And welcome. Don't worry if you don't post an SOA, if you feel comfortable doing it yourself then that's good. Some people post them because they want advice on where to make savings and get some really good advice.

Sorry to hear that your OH and DS have been laid off. It must be so stressful for you. Dooyoo (https://www.dooyoo.co.uk) is a site where you can write reviews and you get paid 50p for each review (or in dooyoo language it is called 500 miles). You can cash in your dooyoo miles at 10,000 and get an amazon voucher or you can save up to 50,000 miles and get a £50 voucher. If you want to join send me a private message with your email and I will refer you.

AQA is a job where you are self-employed and earn 30p by answering people's texts. The website is
    https://www.63336.com

There is a section on vacancies. I don't think they are employing anyone from the UK at the moment but this changes on a daily basis. I usually earn about £200 a month from that. If you search AQA on the forum there is a lot of info on it and if you go to the 'Up Your Income' thread there is info any other ways of making money.

Moneysavingexpert has been a life saver for me and I have found it useful to join a few challenges and write my own diary as it motivates me the people on here are lovely!

    Billie,

    Hi Dinah,

Thanks! I sent you a PM a while ago. I am from Dublin but haven't lived there for over 10 years. Still have an Irish accent though!

Not long til your OH is here, you must be excited! Whereabouts in Ireland is he from?

He's from Limerick so I've not been to the Dublin side for nearly 10 years as I fly into Cork or Shanon. Glad to hear the accent survives even when moved over here, would hate for him to loose it! About 30 hours till he's here for the weekend, a few months until I'm hoping he's here for good!

Got your pm, sadly still no invite has come through, guess Dooyoo just don't want me ;)

  • Hi Dinah,

Hope you have a great weekend with OH and there is no fear he will lose his accent, f anything mine is probably stronger!

You can register and join dooyoo yourself so that might be better as it won't accept your email for some reason. I have lots of friends in Clare and Galway so know Shannon airport well, as I'm sure you do by now!

  • Hi all,

Am in a really good mood today! I finished getting the majority of my Xmas presents last night. I got my OH's godson his Xmas present and birthday present, sister's birthday present, part of Mum's Xmas present from Boots last night. I have enough points to buy my Dad's Xmas present (with adding another £5) so I got all that for £60. Am delighted! When I think of other years I would have shopped last minute and all that stuff would have added up to £100 so a saving of £40 is great.

Am determined to get onto dooyoo today and write a couple of reviews. I have been stuck at 5k on it for ages so want to get up to 15k so I can get the other part of my Mum's present. I have cashed in £4 from my lightspeed account because I haven't had a survey from them for ages so I can put that towards my Mum's CD (it is an expensive CD!).

Think I might even do the Natalie Cassidy DVD today as I have lost 2lbs and want to lose 7 more for Xmas. Hope this is doable/achievable???? I suppose I should stop scoffing Wipa's at night and that might help!
