I'm annoyed to hear about the need to use somebody else's details and passport in the stamp jobs for GAP. This defo wasn't made clear on the initial notes, and I don't think I know anybody who has a passport would be comfortable to give me it to the Post Office, particularly if there's a chance of them taking it away! I assumed when reading the notes that GAP sent you a completed form...

There is one scenario where you use someone else's passport but as I said before, there is no risk of it being sent away. The stamp place offer a check & send service that you pay for, they check all the details on behalf of the driving agency & then send the verified form. The only risk is they may send the form off, if they aren't up to speed with the rules. In this case you have to phone GAP immediately (anyones guess for reliability there though  ). This is only one scenario though, there are others. I also had to upload a copy of the completed form to GAP but I blacked out all the personal info first.

whitelabel answered that question but I use bullzip pdf which is free, it basically pretents to be a printer and save the file to your computer instead of physically print it out.

    bullzip.jpg

All you do is when it has been installed is go to the browser of choice (or any application for that matter) and go to File>Print and choose Bullzip PDF and it willsave it to I think My Documents but I'm sure you can change the location.

Thanks nads & sorry whitelabel :o . I will have a play tomorrow! Off to bed now! Night all

    Hi all

Does anyone have a MS spreadsheet, etc, that I can use please to keep track of all my jobs! My own system is becoming an increasing headache! Would be very grateful for any suggestions please.

    thanks:confused:

    Thank you again...

I havn't had an info pack, I am just working from the online booklet. I am trying to give the answers I think they want - obviously - but it does seem that they expect me to have read something else for reference...as surely it can't be this difficult? NOW they want the four exact criteria that my perfomance will be monitored on...is this the 'ten golden rules'??

    LOL

Edit: Found the four criteria.... :)

Have not got a clue! If you have saved it..and can pass it on I will love you forever :D:j

    Steph

no you're right - I have only got the handbook too. I must hve been thinking of another company!!!

The hotel answer was in the first golden rule

The 4 criteria must be along the lines of all the things you have to do to get paid - only accepting if you can complete / full objective report / sticking to the brief / submiting on time

I've had another thought...have a look on the web site??

YIPPEEE :D Just got a casino job on RE :j . I have been so envious of all your posts about these, now I can go too :D . Me & OH have been saying we'd like to try a casino experience for ages (before I started MS), now someone else is going to pay for me to have a go (and lose lol) .

Very pleased for you owlet. Think it is one of the few jobs I have taken OH on and he thoroughly enjoyed it too. Even the dreaded RE questionnaire isn't too bad.

I found the casino staff very patient when they knew I was new to this. Especially when I kept forgetting the DONT hand money for chips rule.

Should we be discussing the answers to the TNS application test on here?

It's a job application test, designed to see if you can read and understand the e-book they send you. If you copy the answers from someone else, it's not really a true reflection of your skills. Hope I don't offend anyone, but I don't think it's right to discuss the test on here.
Here I go again on my own....

WOW! Well done! Where are you heading to?

IIRC, there is no fee or hotel included, just the flights. You can return any time apparently, but they recommend staying at least one night to avoid awkward questions with immigration.

    Congrats!

    Totally wrong!

Information applicable to the trial flights (It may have changed for the live project)

Glad to hear they are allocating.
