The Mystery Shopping thread - part 6

I'm a little annoyed. I did an email and a phone job for "the placed that sounds like Hare" and both came back with 8s. I'm annoyed because the email one was pretty much cut and paste, which I did and then a few questions about font size, colour of text, etc. so I don't know why that didn't get a 10. There are no comments just an initial on the report. On the phone one, I had a really straightforward question to ask so there was no room for the person or myself to add much else to the call and I got an 8. I'm disappointed cause I've only done 3 jobs for them and now with 2 scoring 8, it's brought my average down.

I found it all very confusing to start with infact still do... just dont worry so much now as I'm more likely to do it wrong if I worry. My notes always seem to ask for so much more than the report requires.

Anyway everyone on here is so supportive I think if I've got this wrong they will let both of us know

I havn't had an info pack, I am just working from the online booklet. I am trying to give the answers I think they want - obviously - but it does seem that they expect me to have read something else for reference...as surely it can't be this difficult? NOW they want the four exact criteria that my perfomance will be monitored on...is this the 'ten golden rules'??

It must be a different job, there are different scenarios, but make sure you read the brief properly. The one scaredy has is a third party application and they are assessing whether the MOS rejects the application immediately (as he/she should) or if they send it. If they do happen to send it, the ID is returned to you because the service does the checks on behalf of the driving people, so no need for it to be sent. The briefs are not that clear though . I was lucky, my application was in OH name & I found a photo buried in a drawer :j , quids in for me

YIPPEEE Just got a casino job on RE :j . I have been so envious of all your posts about these, now I can go too . Me & OH have been saying we'd like to try a casino experience for ages (before I started MS), now someone else is going to pay for me to have a go (and lose lol) :beer: .

Actually I've just looked again at the Gap notes on my account and it looks like I have to complete this with my own details. It's really difficult to read because some lines are written over other lines. I can only assume it won't show up properly because I'm using a Mac. I used to have this problem with Gap ages ago but recently the pizza and chicken assignment notes have displayed ok.

I'm really struggling to read these notes. I wonder if I'm supposed to present the form but not take along my passport? The form itself says you need to send off your passport, but I can't see that in the Gap notes. If I do take the passport, what reason would they have to decline it?

I think you just take the birth cert and photo - I will see if I can copy and paste my info and pm you

EDIT - that won't work!! I can only read it properly in IE not firefox so do you have a programme similar (not sure how Macs work sorry!)
It does say in mine to only take birth cert as they need photo id to be able to check the docs so do not take passport!
I am off to see if I can find any old passport photos as it really looks like an easy job if I can find some!

They're pretty awful on good days but you can improve them by using Internet Explorer they look like a cat wee'd all over them in Firefox.
