Actually I've just looked again at the Gap notes on my account and it looks like I have to complete this with my own details. It's really difficult to read because some lines are written over other lines. I can only assume it won't show up properly because I'm using a Mac. I used to have this problem with Gap ages ago but recently the pizza and chicken assignment notes have displayed ok.

I'm really struggling to read these notes. I wonder if I'm supposed to present the form but not take along my passport? The form itself says you need to send off your passport, but I can't see that in the Gap notes. If I do take the passport, what reason would they have to decline it?

PS Owlet, I hope you enjoy the casino!!!

can you acess internet explorer ? i get this problem sometimes with firefox

if not pm me the job number and ill go into the report and send you a pdf version of it

How do you do that please nads? I always save the job notes (but it saves as a web page & won't copy/paste properly), but a pdf would be a huge improvement!

  • I did a phone shop job today...I got the distinct impression that the guy serving me would've been more interested if I had been better looking lol! And it was a bit like pulling teeth...I was desperate not to lead the sale but there were long pauses where he just looked confused...:s

whitelabel answered that question but I use bullzip pdf which is free, it basically pretents to be a printer and save the file to your computer instead of physically print it out.

    bullzip.jpg

All you do is when it has been installed is go to the browser of choice (or any application for that matter) and go to File>Print and choose Bullzip PDF and it willsave it to I think My Documents but I'm sure you can change the location.
  • Hi,
I have a phone assignment tomorrow, for the shop between 2 and 4.
Have just printed assignment notes, can't read them at all, and am convinced that I had previously read an exact scenario that I should have followed.

Anyway, just want to check (I know last minute!), should this scenario be of my own choice or not? (can't seem to get any more info from the Gap site which clarifies it any more than just a general enquiry.

    Thank you!!!

I did that shop last week. I couldn't see anything in the notes either so I just made it up and it was approved by them so you should be ok.

Yep just pretend you're looking for a brand new phone for yourself but jsut don't give anything away. let the assistant try and establish your needs and suggest relevant phones and tariffs. e.g. Don't say I'm after a Nokia e71 but do say if prompted "I'm after a phone that has good email access and an mp3 player and something to keep tabs of all of my mystery shopping visits on.

I'm annoyed to hear about the need to use somebody else's details and passport in the stamp jobs for GAP. This defo wasn't made clear on the initial notes, and I don't think I know anybody who has a passport would be comfortable to give me it to the Post Office, particularly if there's a chance of them taking it away! I assumed when reading the notes that GAP sent you a completed form...
