Morning :hello:
I couldn't be bothered to handwash today, so I've put the machine on  Alhough a 30 minute wash at 20 degrees isn't going to break the bank, I still feel guilty
Mr troo actually SWEPT the carpet yesterday instead of using the hoover and proclaimed 'it does quite a good job really'. I'm one step closer to getting rid of the hoover altogether
I thought the last of the tomatoes were dying so I hadn't peered into the greenhouse for over a week, went out there yesterday and there's loads of ripe ones, so I'll pick them today then chop up the plants for compost.
I'm arming myself for a trip to miss troo's room, if I never post again then you'll know that my radiation suit has failed. See you later - maybe :rotfl:I am a coffee bean0 -
Hi Aussie lass - yep - pretty warm here at the moment, and its just spring!! I live in air conditioning, and try not to leave it too often!

I've just read the thread from PP too, I hope they dont take this off,:o I love coming in here for a chat, and a grumble and I get all sorts of ideas from all of you. :T
The first was the SC, I would never have bothered with one if it had'nt been for reading about them on here. Its the best thing I've bought for ages, well I didnt exactly buy it, I re-cycled it from mum, and I love it.
Got a spag bol in at the mo, the first one I've done in there, smells good already. I always do extra for freezing as well.
WM is finished so will go sort that out, then vac the bedrooms.

Morning all
It's dry out here at the moment. Sky looks quite dull though, so not sure whether to put the washing out
I've just been preparing DDs work for today, and will be waking them up shortly. They're going to be doing some research on tortoises, which should take up most of the morning. It's amazing what you learn yourself when home edding lol! Can I now call myself a tortoise expert?
Anyway, back to today.
Mom and dad are dropping in for a quick visit, to bring some shopping. There's this cash & carry place they go to, which sells stuff cheaper than the shops, so they picked up some washing powder [90 washes for £9.99] and conditioner [5L fo £2.99] for me, as well as other bits and pieces [mainly goodies for the girls].
The girls are at the library this afternoon. There's a spar next door, which is selling a 4 pack of charmin fo 99p, so I'm also going to stock up on those.
OS, the BM is going. We've beef curry for tonight, using the meat from yesterday. I had my medication changed last week, and have been sufferig with side effects, so have been off my food, hence we've plenty of beef left over.
Going to have a quick read of the thread before I call DDs now.
Have a great day all and ((((HUGS)))) to those who need them.

Morning All!
I've just read PP's thread, and I can see the point. Trouble is us OSers like to chat to each other! What's wrong with a bit of chat in between?
Personally, I've had loads of tips, and especialy loads of support. With my MS problems, and when my Mamma died. Couldn't have got through without you guys!:T
Anyway, sunny here at the moment. Went to see my nurse and Neuro on Friday. Got a weeks worth of steroids, and no work, just got to get over this relapse.
Ordered my new car on Saturday. Decided to get one under the Motability scheme. I'm getting a new Fiesta in Hot Magenta!:T Have to wait though as they didn't have any automatics available, so I'm getting one straight from the factory. Really excited now:T
Hope you all have a good day.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

When my wm broke I was lucky that it would still spin, so my suggestion would be to have a look on freecycle or post a request to see if anyone has a spin dryer, they're not seen around so much these days, so someone might have an old one they don't know what to do with! Failing that perhaps you could request at mangleIt's almost impossible to wring enough water out to get clothes to dry quickly in this weather. Good luck.
