    Evening all

well the other thread seems to have brought lots of lovely new people and ex lurkers in - welcome one and all

tea tonight was a spanish omelette which I thought looked very pretty and dd(12) declared looked like vomit but tasted alright ..... considering. I did a meal plan yesterday and found that, due to a horrid week at w*rk, there were four meals from last week that hadn't been made so this week's is easier and cheaper.

In other OS news we have been getting the house ready for ddad and dlittlesis who are flying in on Wednesday and Friday respectively. I have ordered from dad a load of dutch goodies - whole cheeses, hagel, fritsaus - and will send him back with the european shredded wheat mountain and mint sauce lake and a couple of christmas puds - he paid over 20 euros for a teeny tiny one from MandS in Amsterdam a couple of years back. The house has been much easier to sort though since I've been flying - although not perfect.

Oh dear - i feel very conscious of not chatting too much - hugs to all :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
