Morning
Kids are at school, I've stripped the beds and checked the car ready for Thursday so I'm doing well so far. Just going to put another load of washing in and then do some more website work.
Hugs to everyone not feeling well - take it easy
See you all later0 -

Then I promise them that if school ring I will go straight away. In 17 years I can probably count the number of time school have rung on one hand. As soon as they get to school and see their friends they are usually fine.
This worked with DD, DS just goes to see a teacher and tells them he's not well - they put him in student services for 30 mins then ring me to collect - apparently even tho they know he's faking, they have to send him home JUST IN CASE! :mad:Right, apologies for this rant, but can anyone help - He's 15yrs old, yr 11, so exams this year - does 3 days school, 2 days college studying plastering and knows nothing, nada, zilch... He is one of the nicest kids you'll meet, polite, kind, helpful, but you put him in school or college and he is a nightmare, plays up, answers back, sits and does nothing, throws stuff, swears... and it's not as if he can't, he was soooo intelligent as a kid, started reading road signs as we went along at 3, top of his class in infants and into juniors, now nothing, not even basics... I'm at my wits end... We brought him up 'proppa' make him do homework (never has any) speak to the school to see if we can help, tell him off if he's bad, help where we can, we're pretty tough when we have to be, but none of it is making any difference and he is turning into one of the little b*std kids on my estate, which I hate and they have a LOT of influence over him. And yes, we have kept him in, barred him from seeing people, etc, but I can't lock him up forever and they are the only people he knows around here (we've moved 7 times in 8 years mainly due to money & bankruptcy) and it feels mean when everyone is out enjoying themselves and he is kept in just because of them. He was on Ritalin for ADHD but we took him off at the end of last term because he could be a zombie on them, and to be honest, it's not made that much of a difference now to his behaviour... Apart from batter him into submission, I'm at a loss.... all ideas considered, no matter how silly sounding...:o

Morning lovies xxx Hope you are all ok this morning.
Well another strange morning, DPs took DS2 to school again for me.....I might have to take him to the doctors if he's like this much longer as he's definately unwell.
Parcels arrived, full size bottle of lenor free (I'm having to use fabric conditioner as drying indoors is making laundry not smell 'fresh' enough for DP, his fault if his eczema flares up) and my laptop case and coverWaiting for the asda delivery but have made some space rejigging the freezer ready.
HHC 10.15-10.45 anyone? One day I might be more organised...........
