  • This is my 12th day of flyladying. I have tried to keep up with all the jobs although sometimes I haven't managed it.
For the past 2 days I haven't been so freaked out by the list. I am actually starting to look at it and think, "That's not so bad. I only did it last week". :D
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

    Hello All

Well my first go on this didn't go too well.....

My twoyearold startedwitha cold in thenight and so meand husband were up and down with her and eventually got her up at 5.30 so she could watch tv while he dozed on the sofa,on top of this my 3 month old got up twice to feed and the times in between DH was snoring, so really had no real sleep from 3 o clock onwards. On top of this the washing machine broke down and so I spent the whole day yesterday shopping for a new washing machine and tumb;le dryer and trying to haggle for the best deal (of course!). Ended up with a tumble dryer that detects when your clothes are dry so I'm happy with that! Got home at around 5 with a huuuuge headache and eventually went to bed at 9. So needless to say I didn't get much done yesterday apart from clean the kitchen surfaces and give the toaster a wipe over. Hoping to do better today but the bathroom door has decided to get stuck and noone can get in the loo!!! Hope hubby can barge his way in once little one wakes up!!

ouch you sure had a rough night!!! :grouphug:
don't take on too much ... just do bits here and bits there and sit down with your little one and get a rest yourself! lack of sleep is the worst!!!!!!

Morning all! I'm depressed, miserable, tired and fed up! Have no energy to do anything :( Started with biggest child complaining about feeling ill but she seems to whinge a lot so I never know if she's telling the truth. Then we were late getting out to school. Then smallest child complained all the way to school and back which drove me nuts! Especially when she threw things on my lap and nearly sent me up onto the pavement.

Think I might have a cup of coffee, some breakfast and get going about half past. *sigh*

awww another one with a rough day!!
well, big child 'is out of the way' for now and just do the same as yesterday with little one - give him a box with kitchen utensils or just mixed toys she never plays with and let her have a rumble. :grouphug:

well, kids are at nursery - so yes, we are all dressed :D and i did
    - kitchen surfaces
    - emptied dw
    - filled dw with breakfast things
    - playroom is tidy
    - sorted through books on downstairs toilet (:D )
    - put some cleaner down toilet .. needs 30min to soak now

and now i am off to have my breakfast :j

    Yeah.. see... it DOES work!!

I however look at the mess.. scream.. and run to hide in the kitchen! My hovel is noticably tidier while I've been flying.. but it is just not perfect.. it is a physical impossibility for little person me to clean the mess of the other 9 inhabitants who are just tazmanian devils! They just leave devastation in their wake!!

Sunday DD4 has a party to go to so I need to construct another present..

I'll go find a list for today... I have loads to do and thankfully other thansmelly pjs there is very little to pick up in the front room.

Morning all having one of those mornings where we were all running 5 minutes late.

DS3's blister is still sore so he had a dressing on it and trainers on and his teacher is aware. Going to ring the shop now.

Thanks for all your comments re Harvest - interesting that most other schools still pass the produce on.

I'm going to do my dalies then go to Harvest (it's at 11:00 - not very convenient for working parents) and then do DS3's room before popping to a neighbour for a cuppa.

Soappie - good luck with the plumber - in what way is it not working? You might get some tips on the homeboard here

Ok feeling a bit more positive now! Think I've only ever picked DD or DS up from school 3 or 4 times with them being ill. I don't think DD is sleeping enough tbh but she loves reading!

Anyway smallest child now has toys in the lounge so I'm going to ignore that room for now until she goes for her nap. Once my coffee is down me I'm going to go and rescue the kitchen and get the washing from the machine, then I want to clear my study floor so I can hoover it :)

    Thanks!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

DS2 is fine.. he is hobbling about and I have written him a note to skive out of games today.. all boys school they do football or rugby every week! So I don't think it is advisable to do that.. IF he has broken it we have done the best by strapping it up straight which is all the hospital would have done so it is best not to waste their time. I can administer paracetamol the same as they can.

I have an appointment at 12 with DD3's teacher..

When hubby was making the lunches last night it appears some other little barstool has smashed DS3's sandwich box.. it looks like it has been stamped on... why can they just not leave things alone that don't belong to them.. unfortunately I don't know who it was or else they'd be having an ear chewing as well.. though I will be mentioning it to his teacher when I see her.

It is parents evening next week.. or the week after... lol :D
