    morning

i was rather proud of myself yesterday evening - i asked DH to put ds to put and i'd do the kitchen in the meantime and i managed to:
tidy the surfaces, dw on, wipe the surfaces, wipe the hob ( :T ), clean sink and polish dining table, and sweeped floors in kitchen and dining room - woheyyy it IS a nice feeling when you see that in the morning!!

    what a very clever excuse :D :T
believe me mozzy its no excuse!! this internet connection drives me mad - if I am not active it dies and its not just a case of restarting the internet - the only way I can get back on is restarting the whole computer and my pc is so slow (old like me!) that it sometime takes me 15 mins to get back tio where i was! I have learnt that if I nip back and refresh the page evry 5 mins or so I usually but not always manage to keep it on - but it only works with the MSE site - if i leave my screen on any other site at all or my emails then I have to start all over again:mad:

    toots xx

ouch, that DOES sound very annoying!!! - just keep hitting that little button then ;)

  • Hello All

Well my first go on this didn't go too well.....

My twoyearold startedwitha cold in thenight and so meand husband were up and down with her and eventually got her up at 5.30 so she could watch tv while he dozed on the sofa,on top of this my 3 month old got up twice to feed and the times in between DH was snoring, so really had no real sleep from 3 o clock onwards. On top of this the washing machine broke down and so I spent the whole day yesterday shopping for a new washing machine and tumb;le dryer and trying to haggle for the best deal (of course!). Ended up with a tumble dryer that detects when your clothes are dry so I'm happy with that! Got home at around 5 with a huuuuge headache and eventually went to bed at 9. So needless to say I didn't get much done yesterday apart from clean the kitchen surfaces and give the toaster a wipe over. Hoping to do better today but the bathroom door has decided to get stuck and noone can get in the loo!!! Hope hubby can barge his way in once little one wakes up!!

So... This is my to do list for today

Monday Misery - Kitchen and Dining Room (catching up!)

    Level Two

Clean the mouldy fridge... fling out the manky things before they leave themselves… and make a note of what needs using NOW

Tuesday Terrors- Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything

Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............do not react when hubby loses his temper about little things or critises, walk away and stay serene and talk about it later (he's giving up smoking!!)

    Personal Extras

    1. Advertise car
    2. Make card for Megan for CBeebies
    3. Send cards and cheques
    4. Take stuff sold on eay to post office

    Poffigirl (sitting with crossed legs!!)

Valli I do the meeting and greeting at the general hospital here. I direct people to clinics and wards and departments. Sometimes take them if they need assisstance. Offer support help etc if say some one needs a hand carrying their bags. Today I minded a baby for a short while while gran nipped to the loo. Then showed her where the garden was so she could sit for a while. I get asked questions about the car parking or visiting or local facilities.

Good for you boddy You guys are so helpful. I've been really glad of people doing that job before now! :A :A :A

This is what she did and we have ironed it onto her T shirt for tomorrow
    That looks great.
How did you get it on to the T-shirt?
