Silly question but are we both talking about logging in to Kaupthing Edge?:

    http://www.kaupthingedge.co.uk/

My username is a quite un-memorable combination of letters and numbers, not my email address.

Can you check your balance and read your statement?

Yes, same website that you quote - and yes, I can check my balance and read my statement. I registered at the beginning of May, so is obviously one of the old accounts. It changed to your type of log-in from June if I remember correctly.

    Not true. Please see above.

It is true for some, if your email address forms part of your login details then you have to phone them, or send a secure message via the KE website in order to change it.

Unlikely. And I've just received mine. Irony - like many others I guess I used to have a substantial amount with ING. Heh ho.
& will the world end tomorrow??

Quite possibly...especially if they fire up the Large Hadron Collider again...

In that European leaders have together stated that they will not allow any major European bank to fail, and ING is one of Europe's larger banks, so it may help to allay some concerns about the passport scheme.

Got my email. It was sent at 16:46. Although I have to view it in HTML format. I guess that's a moan for the IT board ;-)

Just got mine, and was about to post with the same complaint!

I have received the email - it arrived in my junk mail folder. I also received a letter from ING through the post on Friday.

Thanks - I never think to look in the junk folder -but there it was.

Wonder how Iceland feel about that? Do they mean European or Euro-banks or EU banks I wonder? The meeting was of leaders of Euro countries.

I don’t know what happened before I joined them. It was only 3 weeks ago and how sorry am I?

I would have thought, if you were signing on with your email address, that is the one they will use to send you messages.

It’s a pain, typing in a long email address, but it’s a pretty neat way of making sure your email address is current and every one is exclusive. Please let us know the outcome.

Sorry, didn’t know that. Please see above.
