No e-mail from ING.

Cannot log in either, says details not correct yet I know they are!!

Will hang on the phone lines tomorrow.

I haven't got any of the above ie Accounts Page/User Settings etc. but then I've just realised that I log on using my e-mail address. Maybe it takes you to a different page from those that don't log in using e-mail. My usual log-in involves e-mail address followed by memorable word, followed by password. Is this the same for everyone?

Anyhow, I still havn't received my e-mail either

Couldn't resist checking, and I've got mine, 6.32 tonight.

They seem to be arriving with people at pretty random times, I shouldn't worry if I was you.

Editted to add, I am able to log in.

It takes a server a while to send 300,000 emails! As you can see, it's not a particularly important email, so try not to panic to much and bombard ING with emails and phone calls.

I only joined KE just before it went under and they had a message on their front page saying they had changed their logging on process for new customers. People joining before a certain date used email addresses, whereas us recent customers received the, as you say, unmemorable alphanumeric passwords!

When there were logon problems they were differentiating between people who were customers before or after (May I think).
Earlier ones logon with email address, later ones with an odd username.

i had the ING email today, my second name begins with B. also, have just tried to go on the KE website, and get ING Direct message about whats happened, and 'your savings are safe' - 'hope to resume service..' etc.

am not sure yet if its a good idea to keep money in ING, being a foreign bank, although it does have compensation scheme.
