Blimey, I just logged onto Dooyoo and I now have three crowns that I didn't have earlier today. I am unnacountably excited by the fact and I have no-one to tell so I'm telling here, lol!
Tom has booster injections today but OH is off work this afternoon so he will come with me. He's never been before so that will be an experience for him.
Still not got planning done and house is looking decidedly grubby so had better get on...0 -
Hope that the boosters go ok.

Wow, first of February already!
Finally got to £10.20 on the scratchcards this morning so withdraw £10. Dontcha just love free money? Playe 10p bingo (1 card!) just so it looked as if I was playing as well as taking the free money but didn't win, of course.
Did our home insurance yesterday (buildings and contents) and found a cheaper quote than last year, hopefully with £45 cashback from Quidco but haven't checked if it's tracked yet. It was a good quote anyway but hope we're covered for everything - I find house insurance very confusing!
Up to £28.50 at Dooyoo which isn't bad in 21 days at one or two (or none) reviews a day. Really enjoying it too! The only problem is I keep seeing products on there I'm wanting to try but I'm trying not to spend.
Working an extra half day this week which doesn't sound much but I bet I won't want to do it when Thursday comes. Especially as I've been in the end of last week so it feels like I haven't had time off in ages (oh poor you, as OH says, having to work more than three days a week like most people do all the time!)0 -
First of February indeed - where does the time go! It will soon be Christmas :santa2: I'm glad you are enjoying dooyoo - it soon adds up, and yay to the scratchcard withdrawal too!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. No school's closed today. The Head phoned this morning and said don't go in so I didn't! To be honest, the snow's not as bad as we usually have it and we don't usually close so early DS's school is shut as well. Have made the most of it by sorting out a load of old paperwork and cleaning out the lower kitchen cupboards.
Feeling a bit ill now though (not from the work!). Tom has had a tummy bug for a couple of days and I think I've picked it up.0 -
Oh, that isn't good (the tummy bug bit - the day off is fab!)....hope you feel better soon.....

Yeuch! I wouldn't be able to eat it The tummy bug has kicked in. Typical when I get an unexpected day off work (and I bet my boss expects me to go in Thursday or Friday instead)0
