My DS is 13 now, taller than me, and still in his "little" bed :o

We got a bigger bed from freecycle, but have yet to work out how it all fits (if indeed it does!).....

  • Pfft...just had my second and third Dooyoo "Useful" reviews. Is it just me or does anyone else feel criticised when reviews aren't rated "Very Useful"? Glad we don't rate posts here
  • Woohoo! Another phonecall from local paper advert to buy a pram set I got for my niece but turned out to be too small. Even better I only paid £1.74 (was in sale then had a code!) so quite a good profit.

I am suposed to being going to see Mamma Mia in London for my cousin's hen night in May and I owe her £80 for tickets and accomodation (though I do think that's a good price!) so I almost have enough now - only £20 short and without having to really find the money myself.

Having huge temptations though when I read about the grab bags that are going to be available at Lush tomorrow. I got one last year and it was FANTASTIC! And such great value when I can't usually justify buying Lush stuff. Should I go get one tomorrow or not? Decisions, decisions!

Need to post a to do list here as if I don't motivate myself I will sit here all day! All I have done is post a review on Dooyoo (I am an addict, seriously, it's not even about making money anymore!) and checked my e-mails.
    • Finish DD's bedroom
    • Do ironing
    • Write another dooyoo review
    • Empty and sort the stair basket
    • File paperwork.
    • Cancel book club that I accidentally joined! Naughty, naughty! *slaps hand*
    • Do planning for work - even though my days are reversed this week. i'm in Wed, Thur, Fri instead of Mon, Tue, Wed but I'd better do planning today as usual as I might not get chance during the week.

  • Well, I failed miserably on my jobs for today but on the upside DD's bedroom is finished and every single inch of it is clean and organised. I even put her seven dwarves in alphabetical order but she said that was wrong and changed them back!

Also the ironing is done and put away so that helps for the week. Everything else is still to do - just as well I'm not at work tomorrow.

Still undecided on the Lush decision. The old woman who wants the pram set has asked us to deliver it and she lives 3/4 of the way to the lush shop - a sign?

Yeah, I did. I left it up to OH to decide as he's not really a shopper but I don't like driving to the MetroCentre myself. There was no evidence at all of the bags in the shop but I asked and was told the £15 ones were all gone (people waiting outside the shop for it to open) but I bought a £10 one which I thought was a nice compromise between buying none and buying loads. I got four gift sets, a snowdrops ballistic, some soap but I forget what it is and a witches ball bubble bar so I'm quite happy. I've just got out of the bath and DD has snaffled the random ballistic and is in the bath now. If it's anything like the stuff I got last year I'll have to fight her for it all!

Don't know whether I am more excited about having the stuff or being able to review it on Dooyoo!

Then we had a wander round the metrocentre which was nice as Tom sat in his pushchair for once without whinging. I think he was quite transfixed by all the sights. Then we had a wander round Ikea and I bored OH with ideas for furniture for the house that I hope we have sometime in the future, poor man.
