  • Argh, so much to do today and haven't done anything much yet! Have redeemed the £50 at Dooyoo and redeemed £5 Amazon from Bingoport, had a bath, finished the book I was reading and that's about it!

We have piles of clothes everywhere - ones for Freecycle, washing, ironing, holiday clothes that I got out and now need to put away, just piles of clothes all over, like a giant jumble sale, argh! We would probably have a tidy house if I could just sort them out!

Good news is the weather's nice for drying outside. I love line dried clothes!

Also OH won, £84 on the lottery last night. He's never won ever in all the years of putting it on then in 2009 has had 3 tenners and twice had 4 numbers. Obviously the great lottery gods have been saving his winnings until we need it as his job is a bit shaky again and the hours are down. His new boss is away on holiday at the moment as well so no answers about what to do.

Lots of planning to do for work. Can't believe have frittered my time off away again - is it still frittering if I've spent it playing with the children? This isn't a bad half term with Easter stuff coming up - especially if weather is bright and shiny. I always feel much better when Spring starts to begin.

Nope, playing with children is definitely not classed as frittering. That's what I tell myself anyway.

    Congrats on the lottery win!

  • Advertised DD's old Nintendo DS on Freecycle. It won't calibrate properly but is still quite playable and have had over 50 emails in a couple of hours. After I've weeded out the ones that say "I want it, send me your address", how on earth do I choose who to give it to????
  • Woohoo! £5 on free scratchcard. Nearly have enough to cash out again. Plus 25p on other site. Will have to log on early again.

Lol, I haven't posted one in ages. I need to get cracking as I got a bit blase when I got to £50 (which still hasn't arrived). I did get £35 from Global test market this week though and 2 x £10 from scratchcards. The bed DD wants for her room is back in stock at Tesco this week after being out of stock for weeks and it is only half the price of all other beds of that sort. I have a £10 off direct code from my clubcard statement so with all the free money I have cashed in this week I'm only £40 short - tempted to just order it.

OH got another cheque this week from his redundancy - this time it is pay in lieu of notice as they weren't given any notice at all. It was a good £2000 more than I calculated - when I looked at their figures I had worked it out completely wrong, whoops!

Tom is walking about much more now although it still looks as if his legs work independently of each other. We went to buy him some cruising shoes today as we have laminate flooring and it's quite slippy for him, but had to buy crawling shoes as his feet were too small. Apparently cruising shoes only start at size 3 and he's only size 2. He has been walking much more since we put them on, and looks a lot steadier too! We also got him a little trike using some money from my dad and some Mothercare gift vouchers from his birthday (Thanks ella_ella_ella!!) and his face was a picture when we put him in it. He kept shouting "Brrrrrmmmmmm!" as we rode along. His talking too is coming along - apart from the constant rounds of Dad, Mam and DS's name he also says "hot", "thank you" (Da - doo) and his new favourite "There tis" which can apply to anything he's hidden and revealed or one of us - eg "Where's Dad?" - "There'tis". We're all "it"!

I'm more than half way to my next dooyoo payout, but haven't done a review at all this week - must change that over the weekend!! I see a dooyoo challenge approaching :T

Excellent news on the extra redundancy - that is a good amount to have as a "bonus"!!

Definitely - I let out a gasp when I opened it!

How do you see a Dooyoo challenge working? I think I need one! I have two suggestions cleared to write the review for and I can't get motivated!
