    How are we today?

I am having a day off sick at home - woke up so dizzy, I could barely walk in straight lines!!!! Had a shower and breakfast, but no help, so decided it is better I don't try to drive down M6 25 miles to work and stay on my sofa... Might do some work from home later on, if I get better.

Well, at least it is nice sunny day, so I may relax in the garden instead of the sofa.

Ginvzt, hope you are taking good care of yourself and getting lots of pampering? Yeah, I know unlikely but it's a nice thought!

So rest up and get in some rays while you have them, hope you feel better soon, x

I sent an email to my boss saying that I am not well and he was so lovely. I said I am very dizzy and he replied "take a day off sick. it maybe iron deficiency, so eat some liver and spinach!". Oh well, I better take that day off then, I suppose!

Huge congratulations Somnium! I'm just at the point where we need to decide whether to have IVF or not. Now I'll definitely give it a go!

Aww Thanks Toni! & you are welcome to some cake ginvzt! I intended to make lemon-drizzle cake to bring to work, but DH had me out looking at cars last nite so I didn't get time and had to buy some cakes instead - there's a jam&cream scone sitting on desk tempting me at this moment!

Somewhat subdued celebrations tonight - going for a quiet meal at a local restaurant we like, then a few (non-alcoholic of course!) drinks at the local pub, with hopefully a couple of friends (if they get back from London in time).

Halfway through the 2WW, and apart from the feeling like a dull 'stitch' in my side, and a little bit of bloating, all symptoms seem to have gone. I am assuming that this means the 'trigger' injection is out of my system. I found out recently that it takes about a week, and becuase it is basically the same chemical that the body produces when PG, that is why you get lots of PG type symptoms - and if you do a test in the 1st few days it will come out positive! (not that I tried that one - honest). Well you live & learn don't you! (as my dear old Nan would say).

Speaking of my Nan....I have to confess that I gave in and looked at a website where you can work out your due date if you have had IVF - and IF it has worked...it would be what was my much-loved Nan's birthday - is that a good omen or wot?!?!?! I am not a religious person, although I am superstitious, but I often dream of Nan even though she passed away several years ago, and I do talk to her regularly, and think 'what would Nan have said/done' (I am not really mad, honest!).

Well, hope you all have a good day!

    8 days to OTD....

Well I had hoped that OTD would be a bit sooner - the suspense is killing me !!!!

Do you not realise that I've spent the last 2 weeks (on holiday)thinking about a certain persons egg follicles,ET and OTD !!!!

So,I get back (having been up all night travelling),rush to the lappy, not even stopping to put a load of washing on, only to find I've got days to wait !!!!

Take care Hun,not long to go now

Hiya Nottslass, hows it going - are you 13 weeks now? Glad the scans have gone well. If you are, then you must be starting with a bump! Hope you are enjoying it and best wishes for the coming months.
