i just sat here and wrote a whole message out and it never posted!
ill try re-writing it as close to origional lol, hi guys, thanks for the posts, i did expect a few londoners here, not that it matters lol.
i think my next step is wait for this crb and try and secure myself a job, although the only thing on my mind is starting a family, i have to be realistic with the financial side too. i can also see that it will become another of my lifes emotional rollercoaster (like finding out i couldnt concieve naturally) and thats a scary thought. as soon as i have secured a job, i will then ask gp to refer me (again) and get the ball rolling. gosh i cant remember half of what i wrote in origional post now! im sure it will come back to me after posting this lol, anyways have a good weekend xx:cool:0 -
Lady A, Financial security is important, but dont leave it too late - I do not know how old you are, but IVF is more likely to suceed the earlier you do it age wise - I am nearly 40 and the odds are definately against us now.
Thanks for the enquiry Notslass, I am well. I have to say I am not feeling incredibly hopeful, I dont feel as if I have the symptoms I should, but we will see - tomorrow now - gulp!!!! So I may avoid for a few days if not good!!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend - liloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -

Not everyone gets pg symptoms, I certainly didn't with either of mine. Only symptom of pg I have had came after I got the BFP. I had no symptoms at all till I done the test then the sickness started a day or 2 later.
Keep thinking positive thoughts and best of luck!!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Hi Lilo - that seems to have come around quickly! Amazing how 2 weeks can seem like an eternity in my own little world, yet can somehow fly by otherwise - I'm sure I speak for us all there! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow - all the best xx0

Hi ladies and welcome to the newbies :hello:
I have just had a catch up, I've not been in for nearly a week now and am getting withdrawal symptoms, lol!
Well still here and still trying. Same old same old.
lilo my fingers are crossed for you and I am sending positive vibes to you down my internet connection!
I think I may try DH on the additional vits that nikkinoo mentioned. He hasn't actually had a sperm count yet (he has recently started a new job so doesn't want to take too much time off at the moment) but they can't hurt!
Hope everyone is well and staying positive!

Hiya Rosie Bud - if you do try those vits the cheapest I could find the selenium was Superdrug's own Selenium with A C and E (£3.99 for 60 tabs, BOGOF), and the L-argenine I could only find in Holland and Barrett, £3.99 for 50. Though you might find them online cheaper - I was too impatient to look  .
I figure that if we don't have success this month, by next OV time DH must have some 'new and improved' swimmers hanging around amongst the ones with 'a bit low motility but nothing to worry about'. I do feel sorry for him each morning having to swallow the pile of vits I leave him0 -

Hey Ladies...
Been lurking on here for a little while and finally got the courage to register and try to get some advice...
I've not been 'trying' as such but came off the pill over 6 months ago, and haven't used any protection since, as we'd be happy to have a baby but didn't want the pressure of 'trying'. As it turns out...I've not had a period in all of that time [and regularly convinced myself I must be pregnant..]. Numerous doctors visits have resulted in now finding out I have low estradiol levels - going back again this week for more blood then again to the hospital for scans...
I feel a little lost and am panicking about what this may mean - I thought maybe someone on here may know? Is there anything I can take/do to up the levels? Or am I in trouble?
Please helpI'm driving myself crazy!xx

Good luck everyone in fact, but especially fingers crossed for Lilo tomorrow!
I had no pg symptoms until 7ish weeks btw. Even if what you feel now is different to anytime in the past, it may be gender related or age related, so don't think too much on that.0
