Oh sarah I'm so sorry......don't know what else to say :o
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
  • I have just posted this on the other ttc thread, not knowing which audience it would be better for-sorry!

Sarahs999 my problems seem so insignificant compared to what you are going throug-big hugs.
I\ have been reading the posts on these boards for a while. First of all I wanted to say how much I admire you lot! Congratulations to people who have had a bfp recently and good luck to those trying.

To get to the point, this is my story...

I met my husband in Nov 2007, just before my 33rd birthday. It felt like i had waited so long for "the one" , but he did finally arrive in my life and we get on so well. We got married in August 08. He is 40.

Well, we both desperately want kids and with my body clock ticking very loudly we decided to start trying rather casually (on and off, with him sometimes withdrawing (sorry for tmi!!!) in June 08. We then went for it properly in October. I have not been on the pill for about 4 years. I wish we had starte dproperly as soon as we met, but that may have semeed mad then.

I am now 34, feeling old and after trying for 11 months feeling terribly worried about things. On advice from a friend who is a nurse we went to the doctors and he had a sperm test and I had a blood test. I think my blood test was too late in my cycle as the hormone (was it prolactin or progesterone? Don't know!) was a bit low. The dr blamed that on the blood being taken too late in my cyle. I have been doing opks and they do seem to come up positive once a month so i think i am ovulating. My cycle varies between 26-32 days. My bmi is 29, high i know. My dh has high blood pressure but isn't on medication at the mo.

The worry is that his sperm came out as 9 per cent normal morphology when normal is 15 per cent. Does anyone know anything about that? All other factors eg motility were ok.

We have been refereed to see a fertilty nurse at the hospital on 24 June. I think they may suggest that i have my tubes checked.

My younger sister has a baby due in dec, and a friend who got married one day after us but who is younger is due then too. When i found out I felt devastated and tearful. I feel so selfish! I don't want to worry dh. I really don't know who to turn to for emotional support. Every time af arrives I get upset and start to think of the worst..what if we can't have a baby, what if we have to go through ivf? why does it seem easy for some people?

I completely realise that there are some of you out there who have been trying a heck of a lot longer than us, so I 'm sorry if i seem selfish or inconsiderate.

Btw, how do i change my user name? I am no longer lonely in london!!!( Now there's a real positive!)

    Apologies for long post

Ah Toniq that's fantastic. Fingers crossed for you.

Lovely in London I've just posted a response on the other thread for you as I post on both as well. Even though we've been TTC for just over 2 years I feel the ladies on here are going through so much more so I find I fit in better sometimes on the other thread. Although coming on here does help me get some perspective sometimes when I see what others are going through.
