Angelfairy thanks for your good wishes.
Scan went fine, baby was jumping around and really active until it came time to take its picture and then it refused to co operate so we got two pictures for free (very mse) but they aren't really any good !
She did make me go out and empty my bladder halfway through though so maybe I overdid it again!
Millie was amazed to see the baby and at one point the sonographer managed to get a really clear view of the babys hand so millie thinks it was waving at her!
I couldn't take Millie in with me and OH had to stay out too to look after millie so i asked about the sex then, they let OH and Millie in at the end when they had done all the important stuff.
Sorry, not saying what I am having because we are keeping it a secret and I think a few people who know me in real life know I use this site.
Had a really lovely sonographer this time (I didnt think such a thing existed)MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Krystal so glad its good news!
Millie's mum - its so sweet she is excited, how old is she? We took my DD to the 20 week scan (she's 4 in Jan) and she thought the baby waved at her too as she got a good look as an arm waved past on the screen! I now have to keep remembering to tell her that the baby is giving her a high five whenever it kicks - I didn't want her thinking she could kick the baby back when it arrives! Too many people have told me stories about how literally kids take what we tell them..... eg I remember my doc telling me she asked her son to wash his hands in the downstairs loo, yes, he took that literally!
Good luck for monday Mrs Tine (I'll forget by then but will be looking out for your update, lets hope there wasn't another one hiding behind the first at your emergency scan! I remember them telling me that at my very first one, mum is a twin and dads mum was a twin so I was worried! Spent the next 8 weeks panicking!).Proud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13ozand Rosie 12/01/05 7lb 9oz0 -

She's just gone 5, in between bouts of being really excited I could swear that she completely forgets! TBH she was more excited about the Go Go crazybones I said she could have if she was good in there! Think she is in for the shock of her life when it actually happensMFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
I was thinking about taking DD for the 20 week scan if she's not at school. She'll be 5 in March... I think she sometimes forgets about the baby too although she did say to me yesterday.. "You know the baby in your tummy... What happens when you eat?" So I had to explain it was in a bag underneath my tummy and it has a wiggly thing that goes into mummy to get mummy's goodness... Then I googled some images (a bit iffy this one, there's some not so nice images if you just google 11 week foetus!) and showed her the bag and the wiggly thing... When I showed her the ultra sound pic of our baby this afternoon she couldn't of been less interested lol... Just went 'oh yeah' and went off to play with cousins!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

aww they are so funny at times aren't they! Mine went through a stage of asking if it was going to come out naked. When I said yes, she asked if she dressed it in pink, would it be a girl?! Bless her, serves us right for not finding out what we are having. Sometimes she wants a brother, other times a sister, I keep trying to tell her we will have to stick with what we are given!Proud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13ozand Rosie 12/01/05 7lb 9oz0

Hi all, just a flying visit, I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, dunno whats up with me, i feel heavily pregnant and I'm only nearly 16 weeks!
I'm constantly exhausted, can barely stay awake past 9pm, think it may be due to the fact that I'm up 2 or 3 times every night on the loo, thought it was supposed to calm down at this stage, mines just started!
Glad everything was ok at your scan Krystal, and welcome to any newbies :hello::j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Thanks Rosies_mum - I'm hoping nothing was hiding the first time too!!! Seriously I don't know how I'd cope with twins I really don't...
I'm sticking to it being a singleton pregnancy! Although now the scan date is getting closer I'm starting to think "what if I'm not pregnant!!!" Which is silly - I've not had a period or a bleed and 6 weeks ago there was a tiny ickle little heartbeat... so there is no reason for thinking there is anything wrong - it's just that I'm having another panic attack again
I'll have some chocolate and calm down LOLDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Awww astonsmummy I hope you feel better soon...
You've reminded me that I need to swap sides of the bed with Dh when he gets home - I've been sleeping on his side since he's been in Canada and it's so much easier as his side is nearer the bathroom... and I do get up during the night to go for a widdle - thankfully the cyclizine normally knocks me out long enough that I don't get too much nausea during the night - at the moment it's mornings and evenings that are the worst although today lunchtime sucked too *sigh* Can feel myself getting icky again now so gonna head to bed I think...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Good morning
An exciting night for me last night. We went to see Michael McIntyre the comedian and at one point he asked if there were any pregnant ladies in the audience - hubby shouts up and because we were sat on the 2nd row MM came over to talk to us.
He asked lots of questions about how far gone I was (said he didn't have a clue what 23 weeks meantand he is supposed to have 2 kids of his own - his poor wife  ) so we settled on 'just over half way'
I knew he was trying to get material out of me so I made sure he had nothing to take the pee out of. Told him we were having a little boy and said that we were thinking of calling him Michael  he was hardly going to take the pee out of his own name
All the time he was talking to me I swear bubba was doing this :j :j :j inside me!
Then at the end MM came on for an encore and was running around the stage when he slipped and fell and it looks like he broke his arm or his collarbone
I must have been to hundreds of gigs over the years and I have never experienced an ending to a show like it!
What with that and having to catch up with Eastenders when we got home it was a pretty late night and I am shattered this morning!
Millies mum - glad everything went well - hopefully it will be more real for millie now she has seen baby on the big screen!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
MFD - now i wasn't going to post on here today, but just reading your post i had to say something ---- i would have died of embarassment if my husband announced me as being pregnant like that. although saying that, i dont think he would because is a tad shy in those scenarios himself.
Quick thinking re the name Michael.
Nice to see boybug enjoyed his first 15 minutes of fame bless him.
Morning all - hope you all have a good day.0
