  • Krystal - glad you're here, was wanting to ask you something!
I have just realised that Kiddisave is in Walsall - have you been down to the shop and is it worth a visit (and will I ever find it now with the one way system  )

MFD I've been in there a few times, sadly never to buy a pram (see earlier post) but it is great, you can really get stuck in trying them all out and can pick up some real bargains too sometimes... They also do lovely nursery furniture upstairs too...

As far as finding it on the one way system... Good luck with that! lol... Easier to come up the Wolverhanpton road from M6J10 than the other side of walsall...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

i think my friend has one similar.

now, i never thought choosing a pram would be soooo difficult or expensive :D

i have looked on ebay but unfortunately no one near by me is selling their 8 in 1s

oh bless him, that is sweet :D

my hubby would be more than happy with second hand if it saved money. i still might have a look at the silvercross one (with the one handle :p ) and calculate adding the car seat etc and see what comes out in front.

does anyone know if mama and papas have sales on at Christmas for prams?? i know some of their stock is reduced online now but not the 8 in 1 system that i am looking at?

    Hi all,

Just saw this on the freebies site and thought the mummies already might make use of it...

Re prams, what makes a good pram?? i have only ever pushed a buggy for about 10 mins my whole life and it was a bl**dy pain, so not looking forward to choosing one. I am reading all your suggestions and at the moment think I am going to go for the prettiest one :o

not sure exactly 'what makes a good pram', i just knew what i wanted, or more the point, didn't want and started from there. it really is a minefield and i think it is of course down to personal taste and preference. also i think things to take into consideration are the size of the boot of your car/do you want a travel system eg. car seat included.

not sure if any of that helps

Ems, picking a pram is a complete nightmare! I spent ages looking at them in the shops and finally settled on silvercross 3D for Christopher but I fell out of love with it once he out grew the lie flat bit! the best advice I can give is get one that seems really good for newborns because once they are sitting up if you use the car/public transport alot you'll get very bored of faffing with a big heavy pram and switch to a lightweight buggy anyway.
I do love my buggy (cosatto diablo) would deffo recommend that to anyone! my dad foolishly folded it whilst still locked (god knows how!) and bent a bit of the frame and they sent a courier to pick it up fixed it and couriered it back to me within a week for a bout £50 - I was most impressed!
Also if you thought picking a pram is bad try picking one for a toddler/newborn combo when your on your 2nd:eek: I'm confussed!

Ps If anyone does want a 2nd hand SX 3D in pistachio with car seat & accessory pack I haven't got round to putting mine on ebay yet so PM me :A
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

ohhh.... looking back at this pram again now...

okay, so you dont get the car seat like you do in the M&Ps 8 in 1 package, but the carry cot comes with a mattress for sleeping and you get a rocking stand

i do like this one too
