Feelie, I had to stay in coz I had a C-section but only stayed 2 days.

OMG can I not eat cheesecake? Baby's Dad's friend was gonna make me one but he sai it's made with soft cheese :(

Really? No cheesecake? Thats awful! I keep finding new things I'm not supposed to eat - no fair! I went into a sandwich shop the other day, and I swear 90% of the sarnies were pate!

AM - i have googled it and there seems to be conflicting information. depends on whether the cheesecake will be baked or not; has the cheese been pasturised etc.

sorry, not much help was i?

if all else fails, as the MW????
  • It depends on the type of cheesecake - the reason that they say not is because it sometimes contains raw egg...

The type of soft cheese that cheesecake is made from (ricotta or philedelphia if you make it like I do!) can be eaten no problem.

With cheeses the problems start when it is mould ripened.

I am still gutted about it...can you tell?

sooooooooo glad i am not a cheese fan.

to be honest, i was lucky as a lot of the things i was told not to eat i dont really like anyway.

the only thing for me was peanuts (due to possibility of baby having nut allery etc). although saying that in the last few weeks i have been having some (like on the plane).

pictures of evie grace sorry couldnt make them smaller.
as i said very easy labour. i went for a sweep on the friday and was already 4cm dilated so was warned id go quick. on the tuesday i went for a bath about 7.30 and felt a drop but no waters broke or anything so just shrugged it of. got first contraction at 8.45 but had just got used to the idea of being induced again so was waiting for that thinking everything would stop.
contractions were every 11 minutes for a minute. asked dh to ring my mum and say i was in labour. and in a 2 minute phone call they dropped to every 3 minutes. so rung labour ward and they said go in. so rung babysitter and for some reason decided it was a good idea to get dressed rather than go in my pyjamas so got myself worked up trying to sort everything while contractions started coming faster and faster.
left home at 11.00 got to hospital at 11.20 and was 6 cm gone. everything was going well but i panicked at the speed everything was going and panicked i was so ashamed as i eneded up screaming like an idiot. but had a pethidine and was soon back in controll. got on the bed as i was falling asleep. and soon after my body started to push. i was so amused by the fact i had to tell everyone the head was out and then got told to stop pushing but it was to late as id already started again. 5 pushes in total and evie grace had entered the world at 1.30 am.
shes now doing really well putting weight on very slowly so there is some concern about that but shes feeding well and very settled.

(sorry for the dalay hv has just been) now weighing 8lb21/2 at 3 weeks.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
