I've had two private scans done so far - the first was just a dating scan, and was £50. They managed to fit me in as an emergency on a Saturday morning with only an hours notice. When we found out I was pregnant, we could not wait for the NHS scan. I could have been anywhere between 4 and 16 weeks, so we didn't want to wait. Of the places I looked at, £50 to £75 for a dating scan seemed normal.

Thanks. If I were to wait for an NHS one when would they likely send me for one. My periods were a bit all over the place as I have PCOS so I'm not really able to guess how far along I am.

skintchick, so pleased your scan went well, cant believe how much you can see on the scans these days.
good luck to the rest of you and hopefully be back soon to catch up, although i have a feeling i will still lurk to see how your all going. x take care all of you.x
