oh Jvic! I've never had so much trouble keeping something a secret in all my life!
I had to weave a web of lies to cover things up, people kept inviting me to go places around my due date so in he end I pretended we were going on holiday to get out of them!

I've got my works xmas party next week and it could be really obvious when I'm not drinking. I can't get out of it as they said I'd have to pay for my place if I did. I'm then supposed to be meeting my friends after that for drinks and then there's Xmas eve. Any other time of the year would be so much easier to hide other than Xmas.

You could always try the anitbiotics excuse...

Or say you need to drive just in case x needs you at late notice.

All dental work that begins during your exemption is free :T obviously that doesn't included cosmetic stuff that you just fancy but I'm sure you know that ;)
you just need to show your dentist your exemption card once you've got it - if you don't remember filling out a form for one with your MW give them a call. it takes about 2 weeks to arrive in the post

Thanks. I haven't seen the MW yet. She's calling tomorrow to make an appointment apparently. I haven't seen a dentist for years (I know - it's terrible) other than when I went to the hospital to have my wisdom tooth out last year.

I'd agree with that my OH is 17 weeks , and we have a 19 month old boy and the guidance appears to have changed, FTR my OH has a small glass of red wine a couple of time a week.

Trying to work out what to do about my 20 week scan. For some reason, I'm pretty nervous about this one. I had my two other NHS scans on my own, and all the midwife appointments alone, so don't know why being alone for this one is bothering me. What are the chances of the scan picking up something bad, when he has been fine on the 4 other scans? Last one was at 17+5, this one will be 21+2. Would involve OH taking half a day off, which means he'd have to fit half a days extra overtime in, on top of about 50+ hours this week. It doesn't make sense for him to be there, so why am I so worried?

Antibiotics is a gd one, although people who know me would prob still expect me to drink even on antibiotics. I might try that one though.
