    good luck mirror :)
elle I had a massage a few weeks ago - make sure you tell them you're pregnant when you book as not everywhere will do them - depends on if they have had training to cover it... it's quite important that you don't have any deep tissue massage in your lower back tho :( Thankfully (?!?) when I went the pain was mainly in my shoulders and neck so she concentrated on that and then just did some relaxing massage of the middle and lower back...
The oils they can use are also very limited so where I go use a moisturising lotion which works really well :)

Af I have finally realised I'll have to just deal with it and get maternity jeans... *sigh* I thought I could cope without jeans... WRONG! and now I have to leave them open to about halfway down the zip just to fit in!

mmmmmmmmm peanut butter. Sami - I had a strop last night as Hubby hadn't told me he'd finished the jar last time he used it, so I hadn't bought a replacement :( I LOVE it :D Thank goodness we don't have any allergies in our family so I can still eat it.

Now - I seem to remember someone telling MFD that we can eat clue cheese so long as it's cooked - can anyone confirm as have a craving for blue cheese and butternut squash risotto tonight :D

I've grown again - I have no idea where baby has left to go. it's leaving me rather tired, but at the same time helping me realise i'm getting closer to the finish line.

    How are you doing SB????

Mirror and skinty, will be thinking of you both today. Hope the scans go well!!

Sami, My Mum had one of those pram seats when we were babies, she used to have a giant coach built silvercross with my baby brother inside it, me on the seat and my older sister lying on the shopping tray underneath... It must of weighed a ton! (And my poor older brother had to walk)

  • I've been so busy over the weekend that I've not been keeping up with you guys, so I'm not going to read back what I've missed.... I've looked through this page though - stop talking about Peanut Butter - I miss it so! I have Eczema, DH has hay fever, and Asthma runs in my family too, so I'm avoiding peanuts to be on the safe side. (seeing as I don't eat any of the other things you're meant to avoid anyway, it's only that and cutting down on wine which I've had to do.... and strangely I miss peanuts more!)

We've got the living room and spare room almost sorted now - not completely, but enough for me to go order the nursery furniture today. Then I'm going to put all the CDs in alphabetical order (I do this from time to time... they never stay that way for long!) and watch the second Indiana Jones filme. No-one believes I've not seen them, so I'm working my way through the box set to keep them all quiet ;)

Oh, and I have discovered raspberry leaf tea is actually quite nice if you put a bit of honey in to sweeten it - a public service announcement for you all!

Nice to see you pickle and glad to hear it went well :)

I'm not avoiding peanuts but then I'm not a nut person anyway... I'm still eating crunchy nut cornflakes... Can remember craving a snickers for about 3 months when having DD and I deprived myself... I wouldn't this time...

Oh damn... I had somewhere to be this morning but needed to wait in for a parcel... Have talked myself into a nice quiet day at home alone... Now the parcel has turned up and I can still go where I should be if I get myself dressed sharpish... But not sure I want to now... But there are other people there who wouldn't be if I could be there... What do I do?!

LP - great news about your scan. It's amazing isn't it?

Oh and does anyone know about taking evening primrose at the end of pg? I read about it somewhere and can't find it now? typical pg brain again!
