i cant say i have had any 'cravings' at all really. although saying that, i am a very keen fan of toast with just butter/marg; marmite; peanut butter or pineapple jam.

one thing i am finding is that everything i have keeps repeating on me though (except toast)

i only bought myself a baby box the other week and i think i need a new one. need to keep one just for clothes and the other for toiletries. just put some things in the box, god it's heavy now. i should have waited for hubby. slaps my own wrist

i have the pages set at 40 posts a page, makes it a bit easier for me to keep up

Thanks! I'm quite scared. If all is well there will be heartbeat, and if something is wrong there won;t be... I won;t relax till I see a beating blob.

You know we all have everything crossed for you! (jeez, I'm getting teary!)

Just a thought, but don't worry about what weeks+days measurement they give you - you'll only be 7-9wks now, won't you? Last night, I dug out the NHS Pregnancy book (green and purple cover) they gave me last time and it said that at 4wks the baby is 5mm big, but then when I had my scan two weeks ago they measured me at 2mm and gave me a time of 5+3! No idea which is right, just waiting for 29th Dec to find out for real. Did you get a 12wks-ish scan date are your booking app the other day?

Elle I think you may want to try ben and jerry's baked alaska - vanilla ice cream with marshmallow swirls and white chocolate polar bears YUM!
My only real craving last time was ice lollies particulary twisters I ate about 4 a day! I had the ice lollie but just plain fruit this time for a bit but its gone now

    No, it's not.

It is a mould ripened cheese with blue veins. Even though it is paturised, it still has the mould isse going on.

Is it a starter or main? If it's a starter she will have to skip, if it's a main then I would consider charging her a small fee and offering an alternative (we don't often expect pregnant vegitarians who don't eat fish either). Got to balance the wanting the custom, but the menu can't be messed with at this time of year.

Proper veggies never eat fish as it is flesh. People who eat fish but not other flesh are more correctly called pescetarians.

If you are the restaurant owner/manager/chef I think you are being extremely unreasonable.

I can;t book my NHS scan till the end of the week as it takes that long for my notes to get to the hospital apparently. It will be early to mid January though.

I am about 7-8 weeks we think. Midwife is saying 7. So it won;t be very big at all. all I want is a heartbeat, then I can relax a bit. I think I'm in denial anbout being PG at all right now.
