Man I am knackered! Didn't sleep well last night - gave up at 5am and got up to get a drink but had been awake for ages already - no idea why... Then back up at 8:30 not sleeping much between... Managed to trot to Tesco for a chicken for dinner but recently there has been a smell in there like sewerage :S and it was particularly bad today... so was heaving my way through the shop grabbing everything I needed BARELY managed to avoid throwing up several times... Not nice.
Home and DH has done the back garden poo duty (bless him!) and after a shower went and made me cheese on toast... Awwwww :)
Since yesterday I've had an odd kinda pain in my left side... feels like a stitch when you've run too much... Not at all comfy and hasn't gone away at all... but does have different levels of intensity - anyone else had that?
aww what a good little hubby! Mine is quite chuffed coz I've lent him some of my secret wedding gift money so he can get take away (I'm just gonna have some chicken noodle soop and prawn crakers coz I can't taste anything still:()

anyway I get a pain like that in my right side but I decided it was coz I sit on the sofa/chair with my legs tucked under me and to the side IYSWIM if your not doing that or maybe sleeping funny its prob baby now pushing/pulling on a new bit of your inside, they're cheeky like that!

i have been getting pains and tightenings on and off all weekend think its sympathy pains for SB lol!! was told its usually with baby turning back to back?? but think that baby must be pulling and moving awkward and thats what gives us most of the pains???

got a big fright earlier put dog out the back and was trying to finish tidying up so didnt pay much attention, went to nip to the shop and she came running towards me from the front. our back garden is secure and i really dont know how she got out but the road at the side of us can get really busy and we are lucky she wasnt killed??

    congrats polly!!!

I know it's not that hard, and personally, under these circumstances I would offer an alternative (though, I would not have put that on the menu to begin with).

However, if it is in one of these town centre gastro-pubs, the chefs are usually pretty useless and can only do large orders using set menus.

    Just saying.

Woohoo, it's really Christmas now... Home Alone is on! (Channel 5) :D

I'm keeping the sickness at bay with a mixture of S&V crisps, sugar ring doughnuts and Cadbury's Roses.. I do have apples, cucumber sticks and fruit yoghurts for backup, just in case (have been shopping, fridge is full).

LOL - I wish I had the energy to go back in time and find the post where you were telling someone that pregnancy makes you sleep really well and that it was all you wanted to do!!

I said at the time to make the most of it ;):D

Welcome to the bit of pregnancy where you think that EVERYONE (postman, shopkeeper, telesales rep etc) should be interested to know that you have managed to sleep through the night :rotfl:

I vote for trying puppy eyes! ;)

For the first time, I've worn a non-wired bra all day and I have to say it's soooo comfy! :D I didn't think it would make a difference but it has. I bought them (this one from Mothercare and two others from M&S) last time but didn't get to wear them.

LOL I think part of it is to do with me having stopped the nightly cyclizine ;) It does mean that nausea is a bit worse but it's finally at a stage where i can control it MOST of the time... now I only throw up a couple of times a day!! (I'm sure to some that sounds insane... and if you'd asked me 4-5 months ago I would have been looking strangely at you too - but now that seems like HUGE progress!)

Sami - I usually sit with my feet up on the coffee table - terrible habit really! - so no idea why I have this stitch like pain at the moment... I've had other pains and stuff but this one is persistent... it doesn't move it doesn't go away totally... just sits right where a stitch would if I'd been running (I have very VAGUE memories of running... think it happened once many years ago... maybe...). Very odd... I get little pains but they are usually shortlived and more what I'd call stabbing and then go away?

Blooming bodies... Who'd have them anyway...

And as I have just got out of a 2 hour soak in the bath (yes 2 hours... it was a good book what can I say!) Dh has had to wave goodbye to the chicken as it won't be ready till about 10... so that's dinner for tomorrow! And thus I must now brave the outdoors and get some take away... whoops! ;)
