Thanks for your answers guys, its a main course. I have contacted the resturant, as we have all paid a £15 deposit, its a fair amount to lose, she has offered to forefit the starter if they would be so kind to let her alter the main course explained the circumstances & they said no. So will have to eat the starter & veggies off the main & the pudding or not go....
oh well
Thanks anyway0 -
re: waxing, I have had bikini wases while pg and it was fine - just make sure you tell the beautician in advance.
Haven't had my legs done in a while - shaving is easier, though thinking about it in prep for b-day, but I can still reach my legs, but the bikini line has disappeared so will be back to the beauticians in early jan
mirror fingers crossed sweetie, put your feet up x

I am going to put my Christmas decorations up tomorrow night, I was going to do it tonight but I just remembered we need a bit more tinsel for the tree. It was a bit sparse last year and this year both kids have had to take some in for school plays, so is even less up there at the moment.
So my plan for today is dig out an extension lead, tidy and rearrange the dining room a bit to fit the bleeding huuuge tree in. Dh hates putting decs up, I usually do it every year, but this year he has told me I'm not to be climbing on chairs or ladders so he is going to do it!!!

Bummer... I have to say that is very unfriendly of them - it's not like it's THAT big a deal to alter it a little - even if it was just to do a couple of extra veggies for her... I have to say in general I HAVE found a lot of resturants have very few "pregnant friendly" dishes... All starters seem to involve sea food (which I love but won't eat unless I am 100% certain it's fresh...), some sort of mayonaise (no resturant can tell you if the eggs used in it are pasturised *sigh*) or pate (not allowed pate when pregnant...) so I seem to survive on garlic bread if everyone else has a starter
Maincourses aren't much better... Although Pizza express are pretty good so far... And they will alter things for you if you ask nicely - guess they're used to people wanting something extra on pizza's or something taken offDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! That is a bit mean of them! Wheres the christmas cheer? I realise it's a busy time for them but like the above poster said they could do her extra veggies or something. I don't eat dairy now and the carvery we go to steam me a whole plate full of veggies as the ones out have butter on, and the whole 'meal' cost' £3.20!! I've been vegetarian all my life so I'm well used to being an 'awkward' customer (leave out the......etc)
It put me in good stead for when I was pregnant!!

Sami I am thoroughly jealous! Apart from the Doink I felt a little while ago (which I now suspect might have been the internal organs moving round to allow Bean to move upwards and thus creating my baby belly!) I haven't felt anything - or at least anything I'd say "yup THAT is Bean moving!"... WANNA WANNA WANNA!!! *goes off sulking*
I don't think I felt Chris move until something like 19wks you'll feel it soon xx
Carla: I'm sure everything will be fine, just make sure your OH has signed on for JSA and if your midwife is a good one she'll have a booklet about all the benefits you might get and make sure you've told tax credits that OH lost job as you'll get more off them. are you working?
on the subject of having 2 I don't know myself yet, septemberbaby will be around at some point today and she'll have 2 under 2 at some point this month so she may shed some light on that for you soon. I have a friend who had her 2nd baby in sept when her 1st was 18mths and she found it harder (obviously) but its not impossible she's coping fine now she's got in the swing of things0 -
Ooh while I remeber, I wanted to ask you ladies something.
Just lately whenever I walk anywhere I get a weird pain just under were my ribcage meets in the middle, I dunno wether it's just because Bump is moving up and everything is getting suashed or what.
Anyone else had similar?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0
