  • I hope everything turns out ok, Mirror x

AM, sorry you've had a rubbish night x

I was one of those that thought I would have a natural labour as I have a high pain threshold and hardly ever take meds ***WRONG*** :rotfl:. I have read that inducement can make labour more painful though so thats my humble excuse :D.

MrsT, I made over £50 on Fleabay last night on just two freebie Elemis moisturisers that have been lying in my drawer from a magazine sub a few weeks ago! :T. And they have both been paid for already . More than happy today! :).

    xx

LOL sounds good SB! I've got sooo much rubbish it's unreal - really need to get stuff on there and out of the house... We need the space more than we need the money tho at the moment ;) However DH really really wants a new laptop so his aim is to make enough money to buy a new laptop - whether I'll "release" the funds to him is ofcourse another discussion all together ;)

looks like we are all planning on ebay'ing at the moment!!! My nesting instinct has well and truely kicked in now - I am cleaning everything that moves and everyday another cupboard is getting cleared out

It's our first wedding anniversary on Monday, but we are celebrating this weekend as Hubby is at work on Monday and it's the first weekend we haven't had plan/people round etc in what seems like months. As the first year is 'paper' I have put all our honeymoon photos and momentos into a beautiful album for Hubby. I do hope he likes it - I'm hoping he's arranged dinner out as there is no way I'm cooking!!!

4 hours of full established labour! yikes!

I'd say 4 hours is still relatively quick, speaking from my 3 experiences! (12 hours with DD!)

  • SB - how grown up does poppy look in that photo?

    She is just gorgeous :A

I have had a nesting instinct for a while now...which is completely clashing with hubby's 'provider' instinct which wants to decorate and fix things and generally make a mess in the process.

...actually - he just wants to pay other people to do it

I shouldn't complain, he has just been outside to clean the windows :D

I've not watched any birthing programmes either

Mirror - take it easy, rest up and seek attention if things get worse.

AM - hope everything is okay.

    Hi All

Question - Has anybody had a leg and bikini wax while pregnant?

I have never, ever had one however I feel like and look like a Yeti, and it is only going to get worse. I am finding it so hard to shave now as the belly is getting in the way, also because I am leaving it so long between shaves, because it is awkward, the regrowth is mega irritable I am having to apply sudocrem!!!!

    Mel x

Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Mel: the only thing I've ever had waxed is my eyebrows so no use there but I use an electric razor to keep fuzz down (my legs only see sunlight if its the height of summer so I'm not fussed about them beeing super smooth) and when bump gets too big hubby does my legs and I do the lady garden blind and hope for the best!
If you go for a wax let us know how it goes
I've always been put off as a friend said the re-grow is soo itchy she thought people would think she had crabs
