Same when I had a scan first time - she wasn't mean as such, but not very friendly at all - bearing in mind it was an emergency scan at 6 weeks...
My 12 week scan was a different guy and he was SO lovely! There were 2 screens - one for him and one for the mum and partner so we could see everything he was doingI just hope he's working on the 30th when we're back...

I looked into that at your recommendation sb and annoyingly in our area they have to be one, so will be signing up on her first Birthday, for now I have infacol on repeat prescription!
I hope young sb junior doesn't decide to hang on in there until post-Christmas, although I've still got a bet on him clinging on until January!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

Hi all..
Glad the results of your scan are good, AM
Sounds like some sonographers need customer service classes! Luckily all of mine have been done nicely - first two was the same lady, then the latest one was a man. We saw another male sonographer there too - he's huge, like an American football player. Before we realised he was a sonographer and not a midwife, we were joking in the waiting room about him being the one they phone if the baby gets stuck and needs a good tug to get it out!
I woke up with incredible sore boobs this morning.. think I'd best raid the boxes on top of the wardrobe where I put anything baby related after the last time. Need to find my soft bras for sleeping in. I truly hate the sore boobs thing as I was moaning about it the morning before it all went wrong last time
I've been surrounded by ill people today so really hoping I don't come down with anything as I usually drug myself up to the eyeballs so dunno how I'll cope without anything this time! Really hope all you illies get better soon!
I'm aiming to finish my Christmas shopping this weekend. OH is helping his mum clear his grandad's house tomorrow (funeral is on Thurs) so it looks like I'll be buying my own presents!
Whilst I'm out, I might as well pick up my Bounty pack. Is that BOGOF offer still on on the Huggies baskets in Boots.. anyone know?0 -
Well plans for the weekend is to try to clear what will be the nursery and list anything that I can think of on Fleabay and Ebid! Then I'll go through the wardrobe and get shot of anything I won't fit again and anything I think I might fit again goes in the loft - that should leave a HUGE empty space!
Most of my shoes should go in the loft too - can't see me wearing 3 and 4 inch heels for the foreseeable futureDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

It was a few days ago, elle, but my local Boots only had one on the shelf so I left it! Its a red box with a pack of size 1 nappies, wipes and socks! But try and collect your Bounty bag from Asda as there will be extra coupons in the bag
.

This is what I have been trying to do this week! I've put lots on Fleabay and they are all ending tonight - doesn't take much to get me excited!

Oh, not you as well, Fritha!. You're only saying that because Celia arrived a day BEFORE your 26 Sept EDD when I had to wait a further 11 days for Poppy! :rotfl:.
Shame about the chemist . Wonder why there are so many different rules and regs?!

Elle - my boots are still doing the huggies starter packs on bogof - they are in a little display of their own just by the rest of the nappies though (stacked up on the floor). There is only 1 box on the shelf if you look with the rest of the nappies.
Wrapping my christmas pressies tonight - it's not quite the same without being sat on the floor in front of the fire with a big glass of wineplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
