    Hi both,

I've had 2 scans so far, one last week. I have to go back for another in 2 weeks as they want to double check my blood vessels or something  Hope it's all ok. She said I had a low lying placenta but that it would probably move up and out the way soon.

Pregnancy has been pretty good so far apart from high(ish) BP and getting SPD from about 16 weeks onwards. Had a group physio appt at the hospital and they gave me exercises and tips which have helped. Had a bit of morning sickness, mainly just nausea from 11am - 4pm every day rather than actually being sick. That's all gone now though.

Just moved house last week so my stress levels and emotions have been all over the shop. Slowly learning to chill now though

Welcome littlemoo how many weeks are you, is this your first baby?

I don't really want to ask dh to help me I am very self concious, and hate my body I try not to let any-one see it, even dh. I'm afraid years and years of verbal abuse from an alcoholic dad does nothing for your confidence!!! I know I am thinking of a wax but in reality I will need all my courage to go in and have one done, I will also have to go somewhere out the area in case I ever bumped in to them in the street.

  • Thanks Sami!

DSS is fab! He's not a bit of trouble and has a cracking sense of humour! We spent ages making Christmas cards today (wish I'd known he was ill - would have been a bit more hands off!!)

He's off to 2 birthday parties next weekend so we were not supposed to be having him - which meant I had to explain that I would be putting the tree up without him - but I am sure we can sort out having him overnight on Friday so we can put it up together :T

Was thinking about it anyway but now I am sure we can sort something out :D

    Hi Mel,

I'm 23 weeks now and this is my first baby. I'm 34 so I guess I qualify as 'an older mum'?

  • Mel - hubby has been handed over control of my ladygarden for a while now (which is is neglecting but I can't see it!!)

Shaving is becoming a pain for me too. I normally do it in the bath but I am struggling to reach! Before I went to aquanatal on Wed I ran a razor over my legs whilst dry (just dipped the razor in water) - what a mistake  I was in agony. I can normally get away with it every now and again but it would seem not anymore.

I will def be considering a good old wax before I give birth - how long do they last for (never been waxed professionally :o )

There's a few of us on here who are over 30 - I'm 32 and on my first.

What an unusual name - Rozelle - I like it :D

Do you think it will suit my little boy :rotfl:

Did you find out what you are having?
