Hmm I thought the regrowth was supposed to be less itchy than shaving!! I will be looking into it before I take the plunge, definitely......

I never usually show my legs off either, but I have a nice maternity dress for over Christmas and New Year with a few nights out planned. There is no way I am wearing tights, I hate them at the best of times.

  • Oh god - I feel so guilty!

DSS came this morning with a cough which we thought was a hangover from the cold he came with last week. About 4pm his mum phoned to see how he was (which is unusual) and said that there is a vomiting bug going around the family and his gran and grandad (who they live with) have gone down with it and his aunt and cousin are ill too...and she had just started throwing up

About half five I was folding clothes in the utility and poor DSS ran in and threw up big time in the loo twice. He did really well to get it all in the toilet, bless him.
So within about 10 minutes we have bundled him up and sent him back home. I feel terrible about it but I just don't want to catch it...although I may already have done. I hate the thought of being one of those dads/step mums who doesn't want the kids when they are ill - that's not it at all...it's just that I don't want to be ill myself.

Hubby on the other hand was muttering away about how selfish it was to send a child with a bug to stay with a pregnant woman...probably a good thing that he won't be going in for a chat this evening ;)

Sorry - what a waffle - I just want to tell someone that I am not a bad person, however guilty I feel :o

i dont blame you i think i would have sent him home too, esp as when kids are ill they want their mum and noone else will do! im 25 and still phone my mum when im ill lol!!

ahhhhhhh been one of they days feel crap between feeling sick and my stomach aches? to the point i questioned being in labour?? had this before and it was a urine infection so i think i may need an app on monday?

hope everyone else is doing better!!! going to be a bath and early night for me i think:(

MFD, not selfish at all! I'd if done exactly the same. In fact I'm so paranoid about going down with all these flus and colds that are going around I'm practically a hermit...

Glad things are better AM, and enjoy your lie in tomorrow... I'd love a good lie in!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • I just feel terrible because you wouldn't be able to do it with your own kids IYSWIM. We bundled him off so quickly and he was really crestfallen about it...it was only when we said that we didn't want bubba to catch it that he said 'okay then' :o

Anyway - that leaves us feeling a little lost now (ah - I remember the days that we would have used the opportunity to go out on the town...now then I wouldn't have been riddled with guilt, I would have been in the shower before he got his shoes on ;) )

Just ordered a chinese and might have to watch some programmes that we wouldn't be able to watch with an 8 year old around :D
