I'm pretty sure blood count is just anaemia... Surprised they didn't just issue you with a script really... My Drs would of... But then, any excuse not to see you at my Drs... as long as you can describe symptoms to the secretary over the phone they'll print you one off...

MFD - I can go swimming, only problem is my scars :-/ Not normally a problem, but for some reason with being pregnant they are really, really visible.

I had a call from the docs today. Apparently my full blood count is low so I need to go and see the doc. First appointment is 8.40am Friday morning.... any idea if this is just anaemia or something more sinister. I have been so distracted since I got the call I don't know what to do with myself.

    I have booked a 4d scan for 15th December :T :T YAY!

The hospital left a message on the answerphone saying that I had an appointment but hubby inadvertantly deleted it...he thinks it was for the 29th December (which is Bank Holiday Monday?) but not sure if it is for physio or something else  I am seeing the MW next Wed so I am hoping that she has something written in my notes.

Other than that - I chaired a meeting on site today with bubba kicking lumps out of me the whole way through...little monkey!!

Feelie - can you go swimming? You can't do breaststroke legs but you can bob around and exercise that way?
I'm pretty sure that its anemia, so they'll tell you to `eat your greens, dried figs and fortified brekkie cereal plus some free iron tabs on script.

can you dig out uour ans machine instructions or get them online? there is usually a way to get deleted msgs back or did you 1471 to see if there was a number to ring?

Feeli: did you see those crutches that had an open cuff so wouldn't rub ur arm?
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

That's what is playing on my mind really Krystal - if they meant anaemia why not just say it and make me get an iron supplement. No need to see me.

I hate it when the secretaries want to know why you need an appointment - I feel like saying 'none of your bl00dy business' :o

Where abouts are they? I've seen women at our local pool with light tops over their swimming cossies, they're practically fully dressed!

That makes me feel quite a lot better :o

You look normal at 38, so hopefully I'm not some huge wobbly monster at 45.

Just need to grow a few inches taller, that might be easier than losing a couple of stone!
Well I'm only 5' half an inch so I wonder what I'd be like if I were 5'8

MFD, I've googled it and can't find anything other than iron levels are checked...

That'd work. Scars are on the tops of my arms, so a tshirt would cover them. I'm not fussed, but OH thinks it is unfair for me to let other people see them :o

Will check for instructions...did 1471 and the number does not accept incoming calls (same for most of the hospital I think  )

I am bruising very easily at the moment...which is amaemia related isn't it? I have one on my arm that I haven't got a clue how I got it. But it looks like hubby has been man-handling me. I have had to hide it :o When the lady took my bloods she asked me in a whisper if everything was alright...
