Hi. Just found out we're pregnant - only 4 weeks, so a long way to go. And we've had 4 losses previously (although we do have other children, the youngest being 2yrs), so I'm quite nervous.

I do agree that the expressed breast milk is great to use instead of nipple cream. And as far as disposable breast pads, I actually bought cloth pads years ago, and they work great. I can just toss them in the washer with everything else, and when they're dry, just use them again.

I had a severe attack of diverticulitis this summer which landed me in hospital for quite some time, and have just started having a few symptoms here and there, so am taking a course of amoxicillin to keep inflammation down. I think it might be due to slight constipation from early pregnancy. I'd rather have the morning sickness than constipation, to be honest. :rotfl:

Well AF i just been to doc's with hubby as needed to find out about my eczema cream and his app was with a locum who they haven't used before and they didn't turn up! they said they would try and get one of the other docs to see him tonight after work or 1st thing 2 mo  but I did bump into one of the mums from "jolly babies" a group I stopped going to ages ago and she had her very cute brand new (ish) 7wk bubba with her. I'd completely forgotten she was preg! how silly am I?!

MFD: I always talk about "the pregnant girls" aka you lot ;)

oh how annoying. i hate going to the doctors/midwife/hosptial and would be sooooo annoyed if i had an appointment, made the effort to get there and then the professional didn't show.

doesn't help that your hubby would have had to take time off work also.

oh how cute...a 7 week old bubs.... i go all gooey when i see babies/toddlers on the telly

i talk about all of us on here to, but depending on how it is that i am talking to i am refer to names, or just say 'oh i read today' so i dont' get strange looks :rotfl:

LOL - I read that birth story too - that was quick!

I was induced with DS, but it was just normal contractions for a few hours, then all of a sudden water broke and 10 minutes later out popped DS. I told DH I wanted to be at the hospital EARLY in labour with next one - I don't want to get caught having a baby at home! Yikes!
