  • Well we're in the midlands and we don't have a car so I guess that puts us quite a way away lol...

Ooh Elle, I an in love with the silver cross sleepover classic in the natural colour with the embroidery... It's so gorgeous!!! Would never in a million years pay £450 for it though!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I've just found a competition on the Silver Cross website - http://www.silvercross.co.uk/competitions.php - to win the one I like and there's another to win a 3D system. I've sent the link to my mum and OH and told them to enter for me.

Elle: apparently its traditional for the maternal grandparents to get the pram - well thats wot my mum said last time anyway!
Parms are a really individual thing. I can't remember about sales as I needed mine for mid Jan - I would say try local independents too they can often be cheaper and IMHO more helpful than big chains!
I like the SX classic sleepover which is similar - but if you have a small car and use it often it will be a right pain, if you walk alot it will be great, buses I would say it might be a struggle unless you usually get one of those magic buses that lowers to pavement level for prams to get on/off

    See you tomorrow no doubt!

Oh, is it? Ah, no doubt that's where she's got it from! I'll be choosing it, they'll be paying and storing it ;) I do have Fiesta (03 plate) and was thinking of changing it for a new style Suzuki Swift but I suspect that has an even smaller boot. Nothing at all wrong with mine, just has 3drs and I thought 5drs might be easier.

What colour will your babies eyes be:
    http://museum.thetech.org/ugenetics/eyeCalc/eyecalculator.html

Doesn't work for us, OH has green eyes but both parents and siblings are blue eyed. Wonder what his Milkmans eyes were!

Same here!! My daughter is pregnant and I thought I would try it for her. She has green eyes and myself and her father both have blue eyes - test won't accept this, says it is an error and not possible!!

    Whats all that about??

    Night night KT.

And, for the record, we don't have any games consoles in the house at all! I have a laptop and OH has a PC (gaming style, worth more than his car type!) and a laptop. He'd only want to pinch the big tv with a Wii or PS3 or whatever and that ain't happening! ;)

One of the things I loved about using an independent pram shop was mum could pay in installments and they keep it at the shop until you need it (I had chris early and on a saturday) mum called the shop on the way back from hosp as she was at the birth and they picked it up that afternoon:j
when I had chris me and OH both had 3dor cars (micra and corsa) it it was annoying having to climb in the back with bubs in the carseat  and we eventually swapped 2 cars for 1 and got a nice 5door family car (citroen C4) we had SX 3D pram and it just fitted in the boot of my micra but not OH's corsa.
If you go to mothercare or somewhere similar I think they would let you have a go to see if you could fit the display pram in the boot.

TOP TIP - contact your local road safety unit of the council to see if they have a carseat fitting service, they'll tell you which seats are safest and which fit in your car properly and make sure you know how to check that its in properly:T

I got rid of my beloved Mini Cooper a couple of weeks ago in favour of a more family style car... A spanking new Passat CC LOL
It's a compromise... I didn't want to spend lots of money, Dh did. I wanted a Passat, DH didn't... so I spend lots of money and DH gets a Passat CC (which annoyingly he loves!) *sigh* oh well it's got a HUGE boot and very safe for when bean arrives :)
