Not much to report, must go have a shower so may miss the lunch time rush :(

AM: I have no experience of your situation but a few facts I've heard are that SS would be more likely to remove Aston if your partner is still living with you, Domestic abuse tends to be worse during pregnancy and is worse at times like Christmas, Children are always aware that something is going on even when you think your hiding it from them and Children that grow up around abuse tend to go on to abuse or be abused.

whatever you decide now or in the future just remember you don't deserve to be treated badly by anyone! I'm am sure you are a wonderful person and fantastic mother and deserve to be worshiped as a good friend of mine says "if he doesn't worship the ground you walk on then he doesn't deserve you"
we'll always be here for a chat and hopefully to remind you that there are some good men out there, and I'm sure you'll find yours.
Is it out of the question that you could move in with your mum for a bit? I know my son would think it was fantastic if we lived with grandma and granddad (tho I would find it hard we may be doing this for a while soon as need to get builders in) *sending you lots of love and hugs*

well I'm really achey today. Didn't sleep at all well last night - when lying on my side my hip and shoulder joints hurt and I can't lie on my back or front. Poor OH wasn't impressed, but was good humoured about it and said it was good training for him :D

Today I'ms till knackered and I feel like a waddling penguin. I swear that I have the wriggliest baby ever created. It has been awake since I have been (about 5.30am) and hasn't stopped for longer than 10mins! Not unusual for my bump really - the MW gave us all a lecture on lack of movements, but can I have too many????

as you can tell feeling a bit sorry for myself today - want to get outside and do something but can't think what (trying not to spend anymore money till next week) and there's not anyone around to see today. oh and I can't be bothered to drag myself into the shower :( So looks like you crowd are stuck with me ;)

r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this response :p
  • r.mac - I had a chat with a MW about baby moving too much when I had a non-stop 5 or 6 hours early on. She said to monitor it and if it was outside of his normal pattern and went on for a few days to go and get checked.

She also said I should exercise because that would sooth the baby...(she is my aquanatal teacher so that may have influenced her advice!!). Perhaps you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and go for a good long [STRIKE]waddle[/STRIKE] walk...maybe pick us all up a choccie bar whilst you are out ;):D

well where are you all

AF: I had a random thought about you today; you should get OH to put in for the full 2 weeks pat leave now just in case, that way at least no-one can put in for holiday at the same time and they can't say they weren't warned. even if he doesn't end up using it.

AM: just to say if you do decide to go to a shelter or one of other options, I have every single bit of clothing Christopher has had since birth and will happily send you a pile of it if needed, if/when you want to take the offer up just PM me x

Oh hun, I'm sorry it's all gone wrong again :(

How close does your Mum live? Is there any way of you and Aston going to stay with her for a few days just so you have time to think about what you are going to do?

Don't let twitbag make you feel guilty, what have you got to feel guilty of? Not letting him get his own way all the time?

I don't know if you are scared of him and that's why you won't tell him to go (for good), but if that is the case, you should get professional help as there is no way SS will take Aston from you if it appears that you are putting him and bump first.

I don't know what else to suggest hun, you just take care of yourself, Aston and Warren xxx
My mum lives round the corner.
I'm not that scared, I think it's alot of guilt as to why I wont make him leave, I dont really know if he would do anything as every other time he's left it's been off his own back.

  • I've had another interesting morning!

MW came at 9:30am too check my BP (I'm having homevisits every other day from now on) and it was something over 100 . My absolute cut off is over 90. By 10:30am I was back in the observation ward at the antenatal clinic having yet another 1hr BP profile. And, yes, you've guessed it, it was back to normal as soon as I got there! :rotfl:.

    xx

Thanks, thats really nice of you, I'm sure it wont come to that, I need to just grow a backbone.
It's not as if he beats me black and blue, he's only hit me when we have rowed so really I should just not get so uptight myself.
I really do appreciate everythign everyone is saying but I know at the moment I'm not in that mental zone to actually act on it all.

I dont want to move away, and my mum has just offered to lend e the money to pay off my rent arrears until I get my PI compensation money so thats at least one worry off my shoulders

  • SB - does having the MW round stress you out?

Would you be better (BP wise) going to the docs to be checked?
