Or have I upset you all? Whenever I post on here it's like talking to an empty room.
Sorry Skinty, thats me not having anything useful to say! If you were to post about cake or chocolate, I'd respond. That seems to be my only area of expertise at the moment
Is your scan on the 8th? Mines on the 9thStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Yes it's on the 8th. Feels ages away but hopefully will come quickly.
I'm afraid I don;t really like cake or chocolate that much. Afternoon ladies,
Question for y'all, what happens @ the 16 week midwife appointment?
I have missed mine as thought it was a GP appointment and all he did was take my blood pressure.
Phoned midwife today, she said if I am not worried about anything I don't need to have one, I am happy with that but just want to make sure nothing v. important happens.
I have had all my bloods/downs results and apart from tiny amount of brown spotting occasionally everything seems to be fine
p.s. I am 18+2 today (where the h*ll did the time go!!!!!!)0 -
I might be July but I think it might be the very end of June??? Have no real idea though, cannot remember for the life of me when my LPD was as we were not trying to conceive and I am not the most regular !!!
Don't think its going to matter that much what date though, as I went nearly 2 weeks over with my first !!!

I'm a sweet and savoury girlOnly gain 4.5lbs so far. According to MW, I'm not supposed to gain anything really, so will have to be careful. If you ignore the weight of the baby and all associated bits, I'm actually losing weight. Still feel enormous now. Anyways, enough self pity.
What sort of place are you having the scan done? Is OH going with you?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Ems2 - round here, the 16 week check is to review the blood results with you, repeat any that they've lost (bloomin' vampire steals the blood), take blood pressure, give a urine sample and listen to the heartbeat. Also a chance to ask questions.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

It was my 16w app today, they did the usual blood pressure, pee stick and took blood for the triple test but I think if you've had a nuchal fold then you don't need the triple test...
FG, I got weighed today and have gained 4lb already :-p I think it's this babies liking for pasties and crisps... This is definitely a savoury baby, which is playing havoc with my sweet tooth!
Oh and skinty, sometimes if we're waffling we might miss you by accident but nobody's ignoring you... Just join in the waffle!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... OMG - I go away for the weekend and you lots manage to ramble on for about 12 pages!!!!!
Had a lovely time with our friends and godson, even if he and his mummy were rather ill. My heart just melted everytime my hubbie was with his godson - he was obviously the favourite and loved the attention. He's going to be such an amazing daddy*sniffles emotionally into tissue*
I'm very tired as having a mammoth growth spurt - though not sure I can get any bigger and having sudden realisation that baby will be here pretty soon (I'm now 31 and a bit wks!). Can't face Mr T's so going to cheat and order online and then satisfy some of my nesting instincts
congratulations to the new borns and their mummy'sr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
