EEKK Bless him, he managed to turn from the op position diring labour and the midwife did think things would happen quickly, but she wasn't expecting me to say I needed to push when I did!

Had to stay in as he had passed meconium (sp?!) and its a mandatory 12 hour stay with obs round our way. All ok and we came out earlier today.
Oh - he also managed to "loop" himself around in the cord whilst he was inside me at some point as when the placenta came out, there was a perfect knot tied in the umbillical cord!? More details to follow when I've worked out what day it is. Will try and get a piccy uploaded soon too!

Happy to say bf going well, he seems to know what to do - typical little boy.

Well, after carefully choosing my maternity PJ's for the hospital and ordering them last week online as my local Mothercare didn't have my size, they sent me a cancellation email this afternoon! I was livid! :mad: :rolleyes:.

Anyway, I decided to go to another store this afternoon on the off chance and they had them in stock! :j. I went to try them on and in the changing room was one of their magazines (with Myleene Klass on front) and inside was a page of vouchers including one for £5 off maternity wear over £30 . So I ripped it out and took the PJ's to the till and they were already reduced by £5 so instead of £35 I actually paid £25! :T.

I was so happy (until I was walking out the shop and saw the magazines are priced at £1 . Please don't tell....!).

Filmstar - so so sorry for your loss, don't know what to say but my thoughts are with you

Elle - I am also a size 6 but i'm a total shrimp - 29" inside leg are a bit too long

Am I allowed to join in the chat if i'm not actually pregnant yet? I love reading about all your pregnancies, gets me all excited

Gosh! I've only been gone a day and it's taken 30mins to catch up!

Had some fab news today. My SIL has been on a drug to 'help' things along and had some not great news the last time she was in for tests. We hadn't announced my pregnancy cos were trying to be sensitive and were hoping things would work out for them.

But she sussed me yesterday and I couldn't say no when she said, "You're pregnant aren't you?!" Then she annouced she was 5 days late and today a test confirmed she's pregnant too! We are within 12 days of each other - don't know how MIL will cope! Will be nice to share clothes/stories/whinges with her as well as you all though!

TMI alert - this baby is so windy i think we should call him bubbles. A couple of weeks ago I could wake myself up with the bottom burps!! Am so bloated I think I'll be going into mat clothes soon - plus my muscles appear to have given it up as a bad job. Just keeping everything crossed for my scan on 18 Dec.
