as you are expecting to be late, maybe that's putting a hold on your excitement for the moment???
thinking of you.
Thanks AF! I'm wondering if its cos of the m/c last time around, don't know if this sounds daft but I think its a bit like not wanting to get too excited - its almost as if I won't really allow myself to believe its all ok and here to stay until I get to hold bubsDoes that sound odd?!
Hope this post doesn't sound too selfish and woe is me!? A close friend went through 3 failed IVFs (before adopting a lovely 10 month old) so I know how lucky I am to get to this stage. I just feel a bit of a fraud at times (look away now Mrs Tine and others...) but this pregnancy has been a bit of a breeze so I tend to worry that something else is going to go wrong! Perhaps I'm just having a down day, a bit of pre-labour nerves and hormones on the wobble!
You'll be fine once you get there AF! The first timer excitement will take over. I've never had much to do with hospitals before DD was born but it wasn't that bad honest! Is there a birthing centre near you, perhaps that would suit you better? It really is true that you body knows what to do in labour, just have faith in yourself. I'm a wimp and wouldn't be going through it all again if it was that badxx

Hope everyone is ok.
Welcome to all newbies, and hugs for anyone who is feeling the pressure in anyway.
I am absolutely exhausted! and for some unknown reason I have basically lost my voice, although I have no sore throat or anything
Saying that though I feel quite heavy in my head today.
SPD is steadily getting worse, although I doubt a marathon sex session last night helped but damn I needed it! I need another one now! sorry if thats TMI
Today I've really noticed a stretching pain accross the bottom of my bump, feels like it needs to be help up IYSWIM, anyone else experienced this?
Appart from that 'Warren' is very happy moving about and givving me little kicks, oh it's wonderful!
ooh AM get you! hubby and had a bit of action last week twas fantastic
Its good to see things obviously are goin well with you and babydaddy! yey0 -
Good luck with the scans tomorrow nicole136 and floxxie.
Tinkerbelluk - lucky you, what a response from a doc! Most of us don't even get a raised eye brow let alone a congratulations! Bet that's made your day. I had a booking in app at home. Not much to get excited about, mainly lots of filling in forms but each area does it slightly different. My mw got me to collect a set of notes and fill most of them in myself (but then this was my second (or even 3rd pregnancy) so pretty much a formality more than anything else!)
Well done to OH cazcoob, fingers crossed for the next couple of stages.
MrsTine, sending some relaxation vibes your way, you've had a nightmare of a day. Fancy HR messing you around like that not to mention DHs bad luck.
SB can't believe its only a month til you are due, I wonder what Poppy will make of her little bro?!
Congrats on the musical kicks MFD, no wonder you had a little cry, how lovely.
Sorry you are in pain feely, obviously not feeling so good today. Hope you get your badge sorted. Astonsmummy - hope you are feeling better soon too. It must be something to do with having "blue" babes, you seem to be the ones getting all the action
Best wishes to everyone else I've not managed to mention! This pregnancy lark is becoming far to popular to keep up with everyone :jProud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13ozand Rosie 12/01/05 7lb 9oz0 -
I've not watched it... If I wanted to watch people barf I'd keep my eyes open while hanging over the toilet instead of keeping them tight shut!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

angela6834 - sorry to hear about the bleeding hun, hope all goes well tomorrow at docs app. I'm sure others have said that brown blood isn't that unusual and doesn't always mean the worst. Its if it gets heavier and brighter red that its more of a cause for concern. Keeping my fingers crossed, just try and rest (easier said than done I know) xProud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13ozand Rosie 12/01/05 7lb 9oz0

Does anyone else feel like a yeti??
I've not long had a shower, shaved my armpits, legs and tidied my lady garden and oh my God, it looked like a carpet in the bottom of the bath afterwards!!
I'm 16 weeks this week and had trouble shaving because of my bump, apart from my pits, eeeeek! It's only gonna get worse too
Think I'm gonna hibernate until May!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Sellsuit: I got my hubby to do my legs with that veet razeera when I couldn't reach but lady garden I just went for it blind and hoped I'd not missed any, have to say I really didn't care what it looked like when I was actually giving birth but I did have a shower n wash my hair before going in to hosp whilst having contractions hubby was peeing himself laughing at me!0

LOL shellsuit definitely not the only yeti
DH has declared he's not "going there" until I've done some gardening... bless
My legs look awful but as I'm very blonde you only see it when up close so not been too worried. I really need to get them done though
As for the "garden" - ought to do that whilst I can still see it!!!
Sami have to say that when the day comes if I have time to then I fully intend to have a full shower and what not before going in!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
