angela6834 wrote: »Can I just ask anyone who might know this. I bled this morning but nothing since....if something bad was going to happen do you think it would have carried on and not stopped?
Im so worried and dont know if i should settle down...i know it will happen if its going to but i just feel as tho im waiting for it to happen x
I've had 2 episodes of spotting with cramps but been told is normal, if i get it again next week ill get a scan as its bit too early now at 6+4, I dont want to worry by there being no heart beat and have to wait another week. lots of people bleed and its usually nothing to worry about, but acll the midwife or doc if concerned.
I cant get over how huge I feel I know its just bloat and fluid but it looks so obvious if i wear a tighter top. Having to hide it under baggy tops, Im only a size 10 - 12 but grown so much already!:j  :j0 -
angela was it red or brown blood hun? Brown usually isn't too much to worry about but if it was fresh red blood you might want to call the doctor first thing tomorrow...
It was brown blood....The midwife gave me a number to ring her but only 9 - 5,Monday to Friday so I rang the hopsital and they said they wouldnt do anything unless I was over 12 weeks...they said to go to A&E but I though I would wait it out...its awful tho xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
angela - try and rest up and not get too stressed - I know it is much easier to say it than do it.
Spotting of old brown blood is not at all uncommon - even red spotting doesn't necessarily mean what you think it does. Use the excuse to get pampered a little.
Take care

i wouldnt worry bout midwife leaving as she probably wont be the one delivering baby just the one that visits you at home afterwards(unless your having a home birth) also as for plastic sheet i wouldnt bother? never had that problem at all! oh and good luck lol! What's for you won't go past you0

My Mum recommended using a mattress protector, something like:
