Welldone skinty! your right one little cup won't do any harm there's not enough actual fennel in it. I'd completely forgotten about the fennel thing I had a cup everyday for about a week when my sickness first set it as it settled my stomach, thank god it wasn't enough to affect us, phew!

OH is annoyed at me being so worried, he things I'm being morbid with all the worrying I'm doing. He said I could have another scan if it'd put my mind at rest, but I've got the NHS one in 3 weeks, so hopefully will be alright till then. Baby decided to worry me last night and hasn't moved for ages, despite me poking him. Hope he wakes up soon.

feely have you thought about getting a dopler wotsit? I think you can hire them, I know some say they can be scarey as heartbeat not always easy to find but I'm sure you'd get the hang of it:confused: it may put your mind at rest if you can hear bubs everyday, even if you bought one it would be cheaper than keep getting scans surely

I thought about getting a doppler, but decided against it because of my weight. Would they work even with someone very, very fat?

The scans aren't just for me, OH can't come to the NHS scans, so if he wants to see the baby, we have to do it at the weekend.

In the Arms, you are supposed to start a new thread when the old one hits 1,000. I'm not sure if thats the done thing here, and wether we should do it, or wait for the BoardGuide to.

I had the test at Gloucester hospital and the sample is sent to Bristol for analysis. They told me I could find out the s*x, but only from full results. We also decided we didn't want to know if the result wasn't a negative.

Ahh I had mine done in Lodnon, NHS services vary so much in differeing areas though dont they, I was shocked that not everyone is offered the nuchal fold test.
We also didnt want to find out unless he got the all clear.

I think they do it in the arms cos there are so many long running threads on one board.

Here's a question for you all... Why/What made you decide to have / try for a baby?

Maybe oddly, I've not really thought about it much. I was talking to the girls at work today and said that I suppose one of my reasons is needing a new "challenge" (not sure if that's the right word). All is hunky dory in my relationship (no arguments never, just very very happy), work is alright (and very well paid for what I actually do), my money situation is alright (*ahem* honest - ignore the signature, it'll all be gone by July!) and we have a house (which just needs some decorating).

Sometimes I feel like I don't have a reason to get up (I don't mean that in a depressive way!), especially on a weekend, and now I want a reason and a new purpose. We have a very stable life together and want to add something else to it. I suppose we could get a dog, but I'm not a huge fan of walking and we live in the middle of town with no fields nearby! ;)

    Just curious... :)
    I wasnt trying wither time.
I'm probably seen as a typical council estate single mum, I'll be the first to admit that when I fell pregnant with Aston I just wanted a baby, It wasnt to get a council house though as we were living in my dads house, but he's a c**t so I had to move out
Then with this one, I just wasnt careful, I dont regret either one though, even though I've been through some right crap with this ones Dad, more so than Astons.

Dont forget though it is your first (i think) so you wont feel it as much this early anyway.
I worry too though, luckily this little !!!!!! is overactive
