  • When I met my husband to be I thought he might be the one so wanted to do things slowly and right and not regret anything. I was 23, he was 31, I lived at home, he had his own house. We went out for 22 months before I moved in with him. Seven months of living with each other we found that worked for us so bought our own house.

He proposed on our 3rd anniversary on a gondola in Venice. We had a long engagement of two years and then got married on our 5th anniversary on 07/07/07. We wanted a year of marriage or so before we started trying. And then we got the positive and then came the news of twins at our 11 week scan! I will be 7 months pregnant with twins on my 30th birthday!

As I mentioned previously, I liked to plan everything in my life but just don't want to know the babies sex. Also, didn't plan the twins bit either - two sperms just collided with two eggs! :j
Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T

Well I too have told the world via facebook status that I'm up the duff ;)
My mum's status is currently "Lesley Just knew it!!" I knew she knew! why are mum's so clever?
Well no idea wot i'm doing up so late my body clock is fooked!!
Well decision to have baby was first made for me when we took a chance and got caught, when I realised i was pg there was no doubt about keeping the bub I was only 20 but we both had jobs and we'd bought a house, I'd always wanted to start having kids before I was 25 so not a massive deal for me. We got married this year and were hoping to start ttc straight away but my coil didn't want to come out, finally had it removed in sept and got preg 10 days later! so excited about it especially as DS is too even though he's only 22mths.
I'm not sure wot made me want kids, i think I'm just very maternal xx

Ooooooooooooooooooooo me thinks me felt an ickle wickle "flutter"! Could it be? I mean can you feel them this early or was it my imagination??? I was quite low down, right next to where they did the scan... really weird! Like tickling inside... Am now 13+4 :)

    Hi MrsTine

I've been feeling these kind of movements for a couple of weeks now! To begin with I would hold my breath to concentrate on what I was feeling as I didn't quite believe that it was what I thought it was!!!! But they are gradually becoming more recognisable as if bubba is getting more strength. I will be 16 weeks on Monday...

  • i dont think pregnancy is designed for impatient people you know...

I want to: Know what Im having, see it again(last scan 2 weeks ago), start buying things, feel it moving, make a name list I can narrow down, have a noticible bump not just a cake bump and so on and so on and so on

Im only just 14 weeks and will be 20wks around crimbo/newyears so will have to wait til jan for next scan, grrrrrr. Why is it all so slow...............

We aren;t going to find out the sex. We want a surprise.

As for why we are haivng a baby - I told OH when we got together two years ago that I wanted marriage and babies as I wasn;t getting any younger! We married last June, and started trying straight away. I will be 34 when this baby is born and OH will be 42 so we didn;t have time to waste :rotfl:

Luckily he wanted a family too. We felt our decision was made for us by our ages especially as we had no idea I'd get PG so quickly (twice, something to be grateful for).

Now i just need to perfect the art of keeping it in and not worrying all teh time lol.

Today's worry: the herbal tea I had at yoga on Thursday contained fennal, which can induce mc

Today's calming thought: One cup of tea can;t be that harmful.

    :)

See? I am trying! *thinks happy thoughts*
