Also it has been suggested to me that i should think about plastic sheet on the bed know just in cause my water's break at night. Is this the done thing?? if so and rec for type
i had a fleece blanket with a couple of towels on top on my bed - my waters did break at night when i git up to go to the loo.
fleece is quite waterproof, enough for you to not get the bed soaked;)

My waters went in the middle of the night but managed to not get any on the bed at all... They mostly trickled for the whole of my labour...

I also have a gym ball, it's going down a bit at the moment but my aunt has a compressor so it's going to be blown up big and strong for when I need it... I'm not allowed to excersize with my low placenta... sadly... ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

The towels were handy because i grabbed them and sat on top of them on the floor when the waters broke. I felt like a hen on a nest. Luckili OH and I found it hilarious :)

something that helped with the icky feeling years ago when i had dd1 was using childrens toothpaste instead of adults, Just a bit of colgate on a brush would have been enouugh to ---BLEEEEURGH!!! but kids toothpaste banana or strawberry flavour - no sick feeling :)

I switched to the Arm and Hammer Bicarb one, its very plain and is brilliant - no more throwing up while brushing teeth!

I'm feeling happier today, baby is moving again. OH thinks it was just having a lazy weekend, it must take after me :o

  • thanks Caz... I'd got as far as packing 4 sets of clothes for baby and some pjs for me, and it's already taken up half my bag!

I shouldn't need it for a while yet, but I'm 33 weeks tomorrow, so starting to get myself organised just in case - babies come early in my family, but hopefully not this early - we've still only got half a kitchen, and no nursery furniture!

    Hi All,

I hope everyone is fine and doing Well. i have seen this on HUKD and thought it will be very helpful for pg ladies. it is Boddy Pillow

    http://www.worldoflinens.com/P~50024~Body_Pillow_and_Protector

it is one third the price of Argos. if you have many things to buy the postage would be reasonable. I ordered it my self.

    Hope it helps someone.
Have a good day and week ladies

    Morning!
Today's question is about morning sickness. When I get up and for a while afterwards I feel nauseous but am not actually sick. Yesterday it was bad enough that I thought I might actually vomit but mostly it is just a low level nausea - is that morning sickness?

I also feel a bit 'fluttery' in my tummy, is that normal and OK?

We are going to tell my family the news today as we have a family lunch. I'm nervous this time, last time I was excited.
Yes I have spoke to loads of people who feel sick but rarely acually vomit, I had really bad nausea, with Aston and this one _pale_
