hello ladies hope you are all well:D
well today my 1st little girl is 8 OMG how time flies:j , my house looks like a bomb has went off due to me not being able to tidy up with hurting my back but hey kids are off school today so might get a little help:O i have all the family turning up later and have just got in a panic as i have nothing in and no car due to OH gearbox going and him having to use mine? so its gonna be a cup of tea and thats it lol! we bought her the wii family trainer and im so desperate for a shot but dont want to hurt myself more:eek:
Baby has been kicking non stop and she must be growing well as she loves kicking my ribs now that she can reach! kids think its great when they feel her kick but after a while the novelty is starting to wear off for me:rolleyes:
caz - get on the phone and tell all the family to bring a tray of sandwiches or something...if everyone mucks in it makes light work of it!
I was going to ask anyone else if the novelty is wearing off!! At the moment bubba is very quiet all day whilst I am busy and stressed and then as soon as I want to relax and go to sleep I get kicked to pieces ( OMG am I a bad mother already  )
I am making sure I eat and I am drinking lots of waterplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Does that make sense? Got a feeling it doesn't.
Thats my understanding too, MFD. Your holidays can be tagged on to the end of your Mat leave.....and you can start your mat leave at any time after you are 29w.

Makes perfect sense to me
I'll see what my boss says anyway, if he won't play ball, I'll just take my holidays at the end of my leave and start my mat leave 4 weeks earlier, doesn't make any difference then does it?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

i understand, honestly i do (but maybe that's becuase we all have baby brain :rotfl: )
i thought shellsuit meant she already had holidays owing (and also asking if she would gain holidays whilst off). forgive me, it's been a manic morning in the office since i walked through the door!!!0 -

The thing is, I'm sure the government pay most if not all the statutory mat pay anyway. And what a piggy your boss sounds!:rotfl:. We'll back you up!

Shellsuit - there is always the Citizens Advice if he won't play ball - a letter from them reminding him of the rules should do the trick!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120

AF, have you got your Boots voucher for the free changing bag when you buy a pack of Pampers?
And I think I might be just a little tiny bit addicted to Boots :rotfl:. There is currently an offer for an extra 1500 points (i.e £15) on a £75 spend at boots.com.

Ooh, SB, I remember when I had DD.... I always used to try and spend over £50 for the 1000 points... Used to save them all up for christmas! Haven't shopped there seriously for a long time... The older DD gets, the tighter I get....
DH very kindly bought me some orange juice and salt and vinegar crisps back last night... However they're both the cheapest variety he could find and really nasty!!! I wouldn't mind so much but he also bought a 2ltr bottle of cherry coke for himself and 10 cans for £3.50 for work.... I know where we stand in his priorities....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hey girls, don;t really feel like posting in here after yesterday but it's lonely at home so...
Went to yoga yesterday and I told her I'm PG so she did different things with me than the other people - nothing that would twist or contract the uterus (usually you don;t need to do it differently for the first trimester but after the mc she wanted to be super careful).
She did give me a relaxation pose that might be helpful, apparently it totally relaxes the uterus and abdomen and I guess we can all use that!
She lay me back on a bolster cushion laid along my spine and propped up a bit more at the head end, then I put the soles of my feet together and let my knees flop open onto cushions either side so they didn;t go out too far, then you put your hands by your sides, close your eyes and r.e.l.a.x. It was great! I thought it might you girls too.

i do have that voucher SB (as well as £1 off pack of pampers) but can't bring myself to use those ones at the minute. If i actually buy nappies, then i am actually pregnant and i will actually have to deliver a baby and then look after it ..... perhaps at 23 weeks (today  ) i should already have accepted the fact i'm pregnant but it does scare the living daylights out of also.
so today, it's just boots baby wipes and johnson and johnson lotion.
can't at present see myself spending £75 (other than for the sake of it) for the £15 adavantage points as much as i would love to.Krystaltips wrote: »Ooh, SB, I remember when I had DD....
