You know those 'salt and shake' crisps, the ones with the little bag of salt in them? I'm sure you used to be able to get flavoured ones, but I've never found any evidence of it. Perhaps I just dreamt it up. Its a good idea though!

    .

I remember these flavour and shake or something!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

''On the topic of scans I remember when I was younger I had some spotting and I said it was a full on bleed to get a scan. I just wanted to see bubs and I did and all was well, but later when I went for my 12 week scan, there was no heartbeat and I blamed myself forr years 'jinxing' it, so I would not recommend it as I felt so guilty at the time.''QUOTE

Thats why i have paid for mine.....the midwife knew what she was saying to me but i said to OH that if we said that then something was wrong i would never forgive myself....so we've just paid for it x

Thanks MFD - we have a Debenhams / John Lewis / H of F within a 40 minute drive (was always a JL girl before) so I guess I could try them. Don't know about small independents - will go on a hunt methinks. I was a 32FF before I got pregnant, now outgrowing my 38F maternity holsters - tbh the cups feel nowhere near big enough, and I just don't feel like non-underwire gives the same support I'm used to!

    And yes, you're absolutely right!!!!:rotfl:

Hi Bathbabe, are you from Bath by any chance? If you are there is an independant underwear shop in Keynsham called Perfect Fit, that do a fantastic fitting service, they have a HUGE amount of stock and I imagine they would sell a great range of maternity bras. (I was fitted for my wedding lingerie there).

    Here is their website: http://www.perfectfit.uk.com/maternity.html

If however your aren't from Bath at all - just ignore me :o :rotfl:

  • edit - ha ha - listen to SB - she knows everything - she knows about cheese!!

Are you calling me cheesey?! :rotfl:

Thanks SB :T You are the master :D (even of cheese yuk yuk yuk)

I think I might have to have it then if it is done in relation to BMI. I will check when I see the MW at 25 weeks.

Hope the MWs manage to get the bloods from me at 28 weeks otherwise i end up at the hospital. Oh, but reading what you have said about the 2 hour wait etc, is it done at the hopsital anyway?

I was given my appointment for the test when I booked in....computer automatically flagged me!:rotfl:

My routine 28w bloods were also taken at the same time so hopefully, if you do have it, you won't have to be a human pin cushion for a further time! ;)

My hospital has an antenatal unit where all booking-in's, scans, consultant appointments and tests are carried out. I see my MW at the dr surgery every two weeks and it will be every week when I'm 36w (which is next week!!!).

Krystal and Ems ................ SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pleased for you both.

i am thinking i too need to be looking at moving up to a bigger bra. over the last 4 to 6 weeks i have noticed a change in how my bras were fitting me. being quite large in that department anyway, i was hoping they wouldn't want to grow much more... not happy!!!

Oh and your scan should be at exactly 12 weeks - my hospital last time asked for date of FDOLP and then booked me in for exactly 12 weeks on.

In our area, they are all between ten and eleven weeks. My last one was booked for 10+5.

They don't take your word for it on the FDOLP - they put any old due date in the box on the booking form until you've had a scan.

I'm twelve weeks on Boxing Day so it's not possible to have a scan then.
