astonsmummy wrote: »Well I had my midwife appt, she was really nice although it's not my actual designated midwife, still haven't met her yet!
Urine was fine but my blood pressure was a bit higher than last time, I mentioned about my headaches so she said to come back in 2 weeks just to keep an eye on my BP.
She found Warren's heartbeat straight away, I wasn't worried though he's a very active little boy!
She's advised me to take it easy because of my SPD as I'm suffering so soon, plus with all the other back problems.
I also spoke tpo her about trying for a VBAC and she said that the SPD shouldnt complicate it, so I will deffo be trying for one.
thanks for letting us know AM how you got on. glad it all went well.
really nice post from you to greent above as well. nice for her to hear from someone who has recenty been through the same thing.
glad warren was playing ball re heartbeat. my heart dropped when i heard my bub's for the first time, becuase we could hear it, and then it stopped, only to start a short second later. the MW told me he had just turned around (little did i know at the time how much of a wiggle worm he would actually be)

I had a VBAC with nos 2 & 3 - and had SPD with no 3 - it *is* possible, providing you work to your limitations and had m/wives who are ok with it. I suffered from spd for about a year after the birth too - not sure if it was because I ended up stretching too far for stitches by the dr after (m/w weren't allowed to stitch me as I had probs with stitches after no 2) He wasn't overly sympathetic!
I've already got spd twinges starting now

I had a CVS 5 weeks ago today, you will be sore after and I think having a lot of rest for 48 hours is a good idea, so if you can stretch it to 72 then make use of it!
I had mine done on the tuesday evening and results by friday evening so be prepared to not get your results until Monday then if you get them fri it will be a bonus!
Miscarriages are really very very slim chance, and I'm sure the results will come back and your baby is fine, you can also find out the sex if you want.
Oh and I had a couple of bleeds beofre havinf my CVS too.
Good luck Tommorrow, I'll be thinking of you xxx
Thank you! And everyone else too

Hi
Can I come back in?
Some of you may remember that I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in early October.
Well ... I'm pregnant again!
Woohoo!
Just did a test today and then a digital one to confirm and I conceived 1-2 weeks ago according to my hormone levels.
Hopefully I can keep this one in this time. I'm quite nervous but also v v pleased obviously. So I'm back!
Not going to GP just yet - I may as well wait till I'm a little further on I think.
Now I'm wondering - can I still have carbonara sauce made of egg and cream? I was really looking forward to that!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Hi Skintchick,
I remember you :T
Sooooooo pleased to see you back here
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
As for the GP, depending what they are like in your area, they just tell you to see the midwife around 8 weeks anyway.
as for the pasta sauce, the egg just has to be cooked. cream is fine as long as its pasturised (?sp).
Contragulations again

I'm excited and scared and pleased and frightened all at once - OH feels the same way. I got made redundant last week so now the plan is to get a part-time job until I need to leave on maternity.
OH works for Virgin Media who just announced job cuts which is not great but hopefully he will be kept on.
I just hope this time baby will stick and be OK. Can;t believe how quickly I got PG (again!) and I really hope everything is OK this time.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Argh I'm so bored. There is only so much that can be done from the bed! I manage a bit of staggering around during the morning, but by 2pm, I can't walk. Midwife said Physio should be in touch within a couple of weeks. Hope so. I'm already bored and fed up of being in pain. There is so much that needs to be done, and I can't do any of it.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
