They test for that at 28 weeks here. I was tested at 12 weeks because I had bleeding. Perhaps its different in different areas. Hopefully the Midwife will know tomorrow.

I am trying to think up questions to ask my MW as I have an appt on Friday, but as soon as I think of a question I forget it.

why not get yourself a little note pad or put the questions on a sticky note and attach it to your medical notes so that they will be there when you see the MW???

not feeling the best at the minute (or having been for the last hours or so).

i was quite breathless to start with and my tumming felt like it was going to explode from under my chest and a bit of stomach cramping type pain.

still going on at the minute. not sure if its a bit of IBS (which has nearly disappeared since being pregnant); trapped wind or something else.

will give it some time to see how i feel.

Thats a very good idea! Will "borrow" some post its from work.

I must say I have just realised that I havent had any IBS in the last 8 weeks either....which is unheard of for me. hmmmmm

ggod for you emms! i had baby at 8am and home for 5pm the door and phone did not stop all we wanted to do was sleep and noone would give us any peace. this time will be so different having HB so door will be locked and noone will know until we have had a sleep lol!!!

im 25 weeks and only had 2 lots of bood done have to get rehsus antibody test next week though?

well i though i was ging mad last night as everytime i dropped off i heard the phone ring this went on all night and it only woke me? dialing 1471 i thought i must be dreaming it? however when i come home after the school run every phone in the house was screaming turns out we have a fault in the line? well at least im not mad:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

thats ok then - at least I havent missed any blood tests. So I wont have another until 28 weeks then.

It feels really weird being 19 weeks and not having bought any yet. As DS2 is only just turned 2 I have everything of his and dont have an awful lot to buy. Will need to get a cot but will get that when i get the sure start grant at 29 weeks.

I had added myself already, but it seems to have fallen off somehow?

My first baby so very excited - I have my first scan date now! Yipee - 26th Nov - hopefully the date wont change as 11-06 is my anniversary and it would be such an amazing present!!

Have been v emotional today with Armistice stuff going on. Was explaining about Flanders fields/ poppies etc to my eldest 2 at breakfast and nearly cried several times!

DH is v stressed over looming redundancy too - so we're a bit useless in this house atm!

I had a CVS 5 weeks ago today, you will be sore after and I think having a lot of rest for 48 hours is a good idea, so if you can stretch it to 72 then make use of it!
I had mine done on the tuesday evening and results by friday evening so be prepared to not get your results until Monday then if you get them fri it will be a bonus!
Miscarriages are really very very slim chance, and I'm sure the results will come back and your baby is fine, you can also find out the sex if you want.
Oh and I had a couple of bleeds beofre havinf my CVS too.

Well I had my midwife appt, she was really nice although it's not my actual designated midwife, still haven't met her yet!
Urine was fine but my blood pressure was a bit higher than last time, I mentioned about my headaches so she said to come back in 2 weeks just to keep an eye on my BP.
She found Warren's heartbeat straight away, I wasn't worried though he's a very active little boy!
She's advised me to take it easy because of my SPD as I'm suffering so soon, plus with all the other back problems.
I also spoke tpo her about trying for a VBAC and she said that the SPD shouldnt complicate it, so I will deffo be trying for one.
