mmmmmmmm Cheeeeeeeeesssssssseeeeeeee!!! Me and hubby think we we're mice in a previous life! we go through about a kilo a week  and can you believe Christopher hates cheese unless its on a pizza! I'm sure he'll catch the cheese bug when he's older.
I say throw caution to the wind and eat what ever you want! the really scarey reasons are the vit A and mercury and I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than eat tuna or liver YUK!
I've just seen the phil n teds side by side 4 wheeler and am soo tempted, had to slap my wrist to remind me I might not need a double!! (Part of me is hoping I do coz I love shopping!) Hubby is hoping Chris will be happy to walk along side so we can use the £800 we've saved so far for silly gadgets .
My scan is tomorrow!! ooh I'm so excited, and also pooping myself about telling the in laws I hope they take it better than with Chris - they didn't talk to me for about a month:shocked: Mind you we are married now so there's no getting rid of me! I'm sure they think he could do better - better than me? no such person exists!

this is the one i seem to be thinking off now (after looking at it in John Lewis on the weekend).

the price is showing as £299.97 ... is that what you paid or was it on there cheaper?

i just can't make a decision re actually physically purchasing a pram. makes it all very very real. also, my husband's work colleague's daughter is wanting to sell her £800 pram for £300 but i am waiting for pics

You have 18 weeks to go and the January sales to come - not worth stressing about now!

I know it's tough when you just want to make a decision but try not to stress - you will make the decision when you need to.

    Hi Ladies,
I haven't put myself on the list or anything but I'm 10 weeks pregnant, and I just wanted to check something with you kind and knowledgable ladies lol.

Since becoming pregnant, I have had a grand total of zero symptoms, no sickness or nausea, no tiredness, no mood swings, no sore boobs etc. If I hadn't taken a pregnancy test (knew when to do it as was on Clomid) I wouldn't have a clue I was expecting.
Had booking in appointment with midwife at 5 weeks so was too early really to be having symptoms and therefore never discussed it with her, and up until my dating scan I kind of convinced myself it was all a mix-up and I wasn't really pregnant as I felt nothing.
My heart dropped at the dating scan last week as at first nothing appeared on the screen and I thought it was true, it had all been phsycological lol (or at worst a missed miscarriage?). But then through the fuzzy screen came a baked bean with a beating heart and set my mind at rest. DH said I can stop worrying at last.

So now at 10 weeks, I still feel nothing, completely normal as if I wasn't even pregnant, although I have seen the baby for myself on the scan now. Everyone I have spoken to 'in real life' had some sort of symptoms with every pregnancy and I am feeling odd. A few ladies I know are due round about the same time as me and are throwing up all day, asleep by 8pm as so tired etc and when they ask me and I say I have nothing I get questions like am I sure I'm pregnant as that's not normal (they are not friends btw just people I know and see about).

In a rambling way (thanks if you got this far) what I want to know is did any of you have absolutely NO symptoms and everything was ok? I just want to know i AM normal - if possible lol.

Obviously I'd rather NOT have the sickness, mood swings and stuff and am happy to be symptom free as long as I know it's 'normal' and I can relax.

The pram arrived this morning - and its the right one!!!:T :T
I couldn't be more impressed with Kiddicare - although i've read some negative comments about them on the net. Brilliant service, and an even more brilliant price!!! (Although the pram isn't on the site at that price anymore. I suspected it must have been a mistake on the site - maybe i've been lucky for once in my life!!)
I love kiddicare, never had a prob with them and got quidco too!
I can't find does it come with the carry cot or do you have to buy separate??

does anyone know if a buggy board will attach to this?? looks like there isn't a good place to attach one:confused:

Don't worry hun your maybe not "normal" but then again no one truely is!
you've seen your little bean and you'll be seeing it again soon (that is as long as postcode lottery lets you have 12wk scan!) just try to relax and enjoy your symptom-less time!
With my first I didn't get sickness or nausea until 10 wks so you may suddenly get it soon!

  • honeypop - I know a girl who used to work for me who didn't know she was pregnant literally until she went into labour - god knows how lol - but she swears that there was nothing really to give it away that couldn't be explained away very easily.

I also have another lady working for me (who was 30 at the time so not just young and naive!) who didn't find out til she was roughly 20 weeks (they couldn't really date her that accurately at that stage) - she is adamant that before she started to thicken around the middle at about 19 weeks she did not have a clue!

So it can happen - both have very healthy young boys.

It goes as shown in the photos - like a carrycot/proper pram then turns in to the pushchair which can either face you or away from you. I needed it like this as i haven't really got the space to store a seperate carry cot/pushchair bit - but wanted the proper pram look!

Not sure about the buggy board its not something i'll need with my baby now being 8!!
I'm sure if you email silver cross or Kiddicare they'll help. Although looking at it, the brake goes right across the bit between the wheels iykwim!!

    i think that's why i can't make a decision because i know i don't 'need' it yet.

people and their cheeses  i do like seeing the xmas cheese platters, think they LOOK lovely, but i'd never eat them :D

With no 1 I had no sickness and was bouncing with energy until about wk 20, when I became anaemic (even then I insisted I was fine) I did get up a couple of times to pee in the night - but occasionally did that anyway, so nothing new there. I was in 'normal' clothes until about 20 weeks (put on 6lb overall) and spent the weekend when I was about 11 weeks at Glastonbury - ok I was shattered at the end, but so was Dh!

I didn't have any sickness with no 2 either - I was more tired, but I was still working full time - (and was in work for just after 7.30 am, left at jsut before 6pm), so understandable. Again I was in normal clothes for ages - I put on 10lb throughout the 9 months.

No 3 - was anaemic from booking in appt, sick all day every day from about week 8 until the day I gave birth! I lost weight through constant sickness :-) Also had SPD.

Everyone is different - and all my pgs have been different!

    Emms - congrats on Isla - what a cutie!! :T :T

  • Honeypop you are as lucky as my aunt, actually luckier, she didnt know she was pregmant till her waters broke. She is a very big lady (size 30) and put no weight on during her pregnancy. We ended up getting a phone call saying that she had given birth after a 4 hour labour, her hubby was very surprised to get called away from work to find out he was a new father to a baby girl.

I say you are luckier as you have time to prepare, she had to get used to the idea in the space of 4 hours.:rotfl:
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
    DD1 arrived 20/05/09 10lb3oz
