Still waiting for the mw.....
I was sure as soon as I decided that I would make lunch she would arrive but NO!
I'm so very tired and just want to go back to bed. Mum has taken Poppy so I can rest but I can't rest until she has been!

Whoever mentioned the Zorbit stuff is in trouble...

Available here...I SO want the 'will I be big one day' cot bumper etc set but it is shockingly expensive
Will be hunting to find this stuff cheaper now.
SB - waiting for the MW is like waiting for the baby to arriveplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Ok, now apparently there are issues with cot bumpers. I used one for both the swinging crib and cot before DD became active but apprently some reports have shown them to be dangerous to baby
.
Am I the only one never to have heard of Zorbit?!

I've never heard of them SB, but there bits look nice!
MFD - I'm trying so hard not to buy baby things, and thats just made it more difficult! I've decided not to buy anything until 27 weeks. I can imagine myself not buying anything until the baby is actually born, and having to stop off at the shops on the way home! I was less than 2 hours old when I first went shoppingStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
I have never heard of zorbit before today...but their stuff looks luvverley!!
Hiya feely - how you doing today?
I keep wanting to buy things but I can't actually make any purchases at the moment - I have a few bits of clothes and that is it! Everytime I try and buy online or in person I kind of freeze and run away at the last minute
I am satidfying my shopping urge with Christmas shoppingnearly all done already :T

Try and hold off for as long as you can - I know it is so difficult though! I had a baby shower and received masses of fabulous things....and then had to take alot of the items I had already bought back :rotfl:.
And don't underestimate how many people will buy for baby when s/he is born. A lady who gets the train with my sister bought Poppy a huge present and I have never met the woman!

okay Sami_Bee, you are in trouble re Zorbit. I had never heard of them either. Pity they didn't have my pram ...lol
oh i wasn't aware of that re cot bumpers. worth thinking about then.0 -
Just had a meeting cancelled for this afternoon so I can chat some more
About the cot bumpers - is this something to do with the ones that were recalled because the ties were too long? I thought other than that they were fine?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
i thought the cot bumpers thing was about overheating, ie that baby loses heat through their heads when sleeping (as rest of them is covered up) and the cot bumper restricts airflow, same reason you shouldn't put them to sleep at night in hats.
Please bear in mind babybrain and that I last had a baby 5 years ago when considering the above!MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
I've had a little google and found this:
http://www.babyworld.co.uk/information/products/cotsandbedding/accessories.asp
I hadn't heard of there being a problem until someone mentioned it on this site.
