  • Welcome Candice!

We did share the same due date until I went for my scan last week and found out it was twins! Midwife changed my due date to 13th May now.

Got a hospital appointment tomorrow. I have more appointment and scans apparently cos I am having twins.

Tomorrow will be discussing screening tests as I receive different tests as there are two which is quite scary. So got to read up on it now so know what to ask tomorrw.

  • was thinking of trying to set myself a target amount to clear of my debts before baby comes too but not really sure how much to go for. With it being christmas too - how much can I realistically clear in 5 months?? Its not like I have any baby bits to buy though as already have all my stuff from DS2 as he has only just turned 2.
  • Miss C, the floaty bits is definately worrying if you have high BP and/or protein in your wee. The mw should check all this tomorrow as its a sign of pre eclampsia.

Let us know how you get on.

Oh I forgotto say, I went for my mental health appointment todsay and she said I'm mildly to moderately depressed :(
I know I'm not right at the moment, which is down to a number of things, I feel so wrong though, I mean I'm supposed to be on top of the world, why do I feel so glum?
Dont get e wrong I am happy I'm having a baby, but life in general just seems shoit at the moment.
She offered me some anti depressants but due to the risk of Warren possibly having heart problem I refused.
I know that my relationship with babys Dad is really not very good most of the time, I just dunno what do do anymore.

Haven't posted in an age. Am 31 weeks at the mo, but the doc says I'll be induced at 39 weeks (just after Christmas). He originally said 38 weeks but that would have been Christmas Eve:eek: . I'm "sensitised" to anti-D - gawd knows how because I had all the vaccinations in my first pregnancy, but there's a good chance babs will be born anaemic, hence being induced early.

I'm being monitored fortnightly (doppler scans and blood tests), but at the mo there's no sign of anaemia. My anti-D levels are slowly rising but they're still well below the "danger" threshold.

Otherwise, pregnancy has been no probs at all - not nearly as stressful as my 3-year-old deciding that 3 AM is a good time to wake up:eek:
